It's light and easy to carry, which makes it perfect for hiking to hard-to-reach places. It was simple to set up, and the camera angle sliders are useful. But I'm anxious about how long it will last. Over time, the mount may become loose, making it harder to keep the camera steady. The plastic parts don't look very strong. It's OK for short travels, but I'm worried about longer hunting trips or harsher situations. You could also get better at tightening knobs. You have to adjust them a few times since they don't always stay at the appropriate angle. It's not great for quick setup. It is easy to put together and take apart the mount, but the quality of the job is bad. If you just need it once in a while or don't want to spend a lot of money on it, this mount can be a good choice. Look at different options if you want something that will last.

This trail camera mount bracket is exactly what I needed to set up my game camera outdoors. The 1/4 inch threaded insert fits perfectly, and the adjustable angles—90° vertical and 360° horizontal—make it easy to get the perfect shot no matter where I position it. The build feels solid and durable, able to withstand outdoor conditions without wobbling or slipping. Installation was straightforward, and it holds my camera securely. Whether you’re a hunter or wildlife enthusiast, this mount is a reliable accessory to enhance your setup. Highly recommend!

Great mount for a wildlife or security camera. I ordered it for use with a security camera, and am very happy with it in that application. The post mount swivels through 180 range for aiming the camera, and the screw knob that locks it into place does a good job for my security camera. Comes with your choice of screws for screw mounting, or a web strap for strap mounting (where the base has slots for the strap to pass through, and molded in "teeth" on the base bottom which are particularly useful if you will mount it on the bark of a tree). Pricing seems very reasonable for the mount w/ screws and a ~6 foot strap, and the mount seems plenty robust.

I found this to be well made with quality materials. I used it to mount an outdoor projector to the ceiling of our porch. It is highly adjustable and you can get dialed in on the exact position you are looking for. The locking nuts hold it in place very well.I like that there are multiple mounting options. I used screws because I put it in a place that will be permanent, but there are other options that add flexibility and easy relocation...like the strap.Overall, this is a great 1/4 mounting bracket.

This is a very versatile camera mount. It can be attached with the supplied strap or by using supplied screws to attach it. It has a 1/4-20 threaded connector bolt to attach your camera to the mount. Mount provides pretty much infinite adjustment to set your camera at most any angle. I like the way it extends out and prevents camera from hitting the tree or other item you are mounting. I highly recommend this mount.

I have several wireless Wifi cameras that I use as trail cameras which are moved often. This mount caught my attention since it didn't require screws or bungee cord to mount to the tree. But screws are included if you decide to hard mount. The strap is rather generous (estimated to be ~5', based on my pictures). Placing on a tree is obviously a simple task. Place the curved base on the trunk, swing the strap around, and tighten up. The base is serrated to help keep it in place. The mount is better suited for trees with a larger diameter. The screw size is 1/4-20 which is the standard size for most cameras.Overall, I'm quite pleased with the flexibility mount provides.

This mount is well suited for what it seeks to do, having deep serrations to keep it in place on rough surfaces, and a solid ball socket adjustment. The screw holes work well for more permanent attachments, and the strap concept is neat, but the strap mentioned in the included items list was not present in the order delivered to me.If you're looking to mount a small solar panel or camera to a wall, I think this is a decent choice, but if you plan to use the strap mounting on a tree, you might need to provide your own ratchet strap depending on if my delivery was typical. Otherwise the quality is fine for the price, if it's what you need. The ball socket is 17mm and can be used with other matching accessories if desired.

I ordered this mount to use with one of my trail cameras. It's very easy to position the camera exactly as I like, without having to adjust a strap or shim the camera with sticks and such. I just aim the camera and then tighten the single adjustment knob to hold it in place. Fine adjustments are simple, too.The mount adjusts vertically through about 110 degree, better than the 90 degrees mentioned in the listing. The metal mounting stem seems to be stainless steel; it's not magnetic. The ball in the adjustment socket is plastic, so there are no corrosion worries. The stand-off length of the mount allows it to be used on steeply inclined tree trunks or limbs without the camera contacting them. It's a well built mount with a very simple design. One adjustment know and no tools required for adjustments as with some of the other mounts I have.
