These are the best knee pads.. put them on and forget... they tend not to shift around like many.

I’ve used the same style of knee pads for along time. But the price (like most things) is shooting up so I decided to look for a cheaper alternative. These seem to tick all the right boxes. They are well made and do offer a pretty good knee protection. But the biggest flaw is the strap. If you wear these with shorts they will rub and dig into the back of your leg like mad. I then thought ok, maybe you have to wear these with trousers. Wrong! Same problem again. Real shame as these would be perfect if they made the strap more comfortable. Could be the size of your legs that cause issues? But to be honest I think everyone will have this problem. Again can’t complain about design and quality that’s all pretty spot on but a strap away from being perfect.

The hard shell protect your knees for all types of rough terrain. My favorite aspect is the single strap. It prices excellent comfort with no punching when standing up and squatting back down.

I have bad knees and love projects, so I have tried at least 8 different brands of knee pads. I have used these for gardening, outdoor projects, painting, indoor construction projects and cleaning, pretty much any time I have to be on my knees. These are by far the most comfortable, least clunky, and best performing knee pads I have ever used. Best of all, they stay in place and do not slide down, even with repeated up, down, up, down.I am able to garden in my rough jagged rock garden with no problems . I usually forget I have them on and walk around with them all the time. Kind of embarrassing, but that's how comfortable they are. My husband loves them as well and was always stealing mine, so you know what Santa brought him :)I own at least 4 pairs of these and have given them as a gift to several friends. I highly recommend these!

I'm a remodeling contractor specializing in master baths and kitchens. I'm on my knees about 75% of my day demolishing, installing or repairing tile, subterranean electrical and/or plumbing or concrete. When my favorite kneepads were no longer offered by their manufacturer, I began scouring the internet for replacements. The ToughBilt pads are similar in construction and fit to my old favorites, so I ordered a pair. After a full week of use, here's the positives:1. Attachment. Straps are simple to work and don't bind or grab. You don't have to overtighten to keep them in place. They also don't leave a lot of overhang that can flop around into wet thinset or concrete. One of the biggest tests for me is if a pair of kneepads fit so good you forget you're wearing them. In one week, my wife had to remind me I was still wearing them when I entered the house after work. A very encouraging sign.2. Cushion. I'm not careful when I go to the ground to work. If I'm laying tile, repetitive hard impacts are the norm as I get up and down to cut tile, mix thinset, change position to set a new course, etc. After a week of setting tile, my knees have been pain and bruise free. I like how the pads curve up and over the kneecap as it seems to help keep the pads in a position that puts maximum pad thickness where it needs to be. The pads also breathe well, helping reduce the amount of retained sweat that leads to odor. The only unknown for me is how long the cushion will last as I've only had them for a week.My only concern with the ToughBilt pads so far is the covering. It's a heavy weave fabric that's got lots of texture and therefore lots of places for thinset or cement to get into and set before you get a chance to clean. However, it's been easy to get them nearly clean again at the end of the day. My worry is the fabric will wear through over time. Only time will tell.Overall, ToughBilt knee pads are well on the way to becoming my new (and possibly all time) favorite. I'll review again in a couple of months to address the longevity and clean ability issues.

These look very well made and feel soft and padded to the touch... but my knees still kill me.. even if it's for a short period of time. I purchased these to use while cleaning floors. Guessing I need more of a 'gel-type' knee pad. My husband may be able to use these when he is working.. they just don't work for me.

Ive had a bunch of knee pads over the years and ive never found a set that stay up. Well my search is over. These things are one of the easiest sets to put on ive ever owned and have used them on jobs around the house and hook up and unhook of my travel trailer while camping. They stay in place though out the job, are great to kneel on and cheap! What else could a person want?

These are one of the best kneepads I have ever used. Being a flooring installer, I have used a number of different types ranging in price from $14 - $80. These compare to the best I've used for comfort (I tend to get blisters on the back of my knees from chafing and these have comfortable spandex? Straps which prevent that). They also seem to be quite durable (so far). I have used them for 2 months straight and they are still as comfortable as the first time I used them. Most kneepads are toast after one month. I especially like the removable no mark shields. They have flexability which helps to keep them from wearing through as quickly, though the shields can be replaced quite easily and cheaply. Can't beat these for value. I will be buying them again.
