Worked the first time. Pretty slow though. The second time it was extremely slow. The third time it wouldn't remove the cork. I replaced the batteries to make sure and had to keep wiggling the device to get the cork to start to come out. Then I had to cut the cork after it got halfway out and start again. Took about 5 minutes to get the cork out of the bottle. Returning.

The Wine Air Pressure Pump Opener set I recently purchased has provided mixed results. While the wine opener itself is a game-changer and makes opening wine bottles a breeze, the accompanying wine stopper fell short of my expectations.The wine opener is truly remarkable. With a simple insertion of the needle into the cork and a few quick pumps, the cork effortlessly pops out, eliminating the need for traditional corkscrews. This convenience and ease of use have made wine opening a much more enjoyable experience for me.However, I have encountered difficulties with the wine stopper included in the set. Despite multiple attempts, I could not get the stopper to create a proper seal in my wine bottle, regardless of how many times I pumped it. This issue was disappointing as I had hoped for an effective stopper to preserve the freshness of my wine. It feels like the stopper was a significant part of the product, but it did not live up to my expectations.While I am satisfied with the wine opener itself, the lackluster performance of the stopper impacts my overall rating. I can only give the product three stars due to the disappointment caused by the stopper. It is possible that the stopper I received was defective, but I opted not to initiate a return as it did not seem worth my time.If you are primarily interested in a hassle-free wine opener, this set may still be a worthwhile purchase. However, if the wine stopper is an important factor for you, it may be worth exploring alternative options.

I saw an advertisement on TikTok for one of these for $50 and I thought it looked interesting, but for $50 I wasn't going to pull the trigger. I looked here on Amazon and found these at a fraction of the price I said I'll try it. I've only used it once, but everything worked as advertised. The cork popped out after about 8 pumps. The aerator works well. It's best quality is that you can pout without drips. The wine stopper takes several pumps. When it says dozens it means it. I stopped after about 36 pumps. I'll report back if I find and defects down the road. For now it's a yes for me. I just ordered 6 more for Christmas presents.

Received the item in a nice box,. (thought;This can be a nice gift.) It works but their is a problem with the cork remover;(1) The cork opener will not work, if the cork density is not dense enough, it will not remove the cork, because air will leak out through the cork, making it useless. (2) the cap sticks out to much, making the bottle to tall to fit standing up on any average cabinet or refrigerator. (laying it down is not recommended by the manufacturer.) These are the two but's, One is not really manufacturers fault, it relies on the air going through the cork and pushing the cork out with air pressure. The idea is good, but relies on a dense cork so this is a hit and miss. The cap is way to long; that needs to be redesign. The aerator is just fine.

I bought this as a BD gift for a friend, but since I read the other reviews, I wanted to try it for myself before I gave it to her. Now I'm going to order another one for her and a bunch more to give as gifts for Christmas. For instance, the other night a friend of mine threw away a full, just opened bottle of wine because the bottle opener she was using chipped the glass and she didn't want to serve her guests chips of glass in their wine. I knew right then that I had to get her this bottle opener for Christmas. There is no way the glass could chip with the wine air pressure pump opener. No struggle, either! Just insert the needle, pump a few times, and voila, the cork pops out. I saw a product similar to this demonstrated at the County Fair and they were asking a lot more money. I say this product works and is priced well.

So far, the cork extractor and vacuum sealer have worked quite well. Arrived nicely packaged, would be an excellent gift for someone into wines. This set is quite the value, seeing as a very similar item (just the cork extractor) recently appeared on HSN for $19.99. I have not tried the aerator yet, but this style aerator is pretty common and many fail to work due to the base being to wide and/or the taper not gradual enough. This aerator has a narrower base than the others I have of similar style, so there is a good chance this one may work better than those that fall out of the bottle when used. So, all told, for the money, this is a good deal, a decent set of goods.

I was about ready to stop drinking one of my favorite wines because they still use actual cork for their stoppers.They were a pain to get out and would tear apart. This cork remover works great. It is so much easier than a cork screw type. Now my wife can even open them. Also, the foil cutter works great. It removes the foil with almost no effort. I'm not sure what benefit the pressure pump/stopper is. We have a similar pourer to the one that came in this box but the quality of this new one seems to be better than our old one. It probably doesn't really make that much difference though. I'm glad that I purchased this kit.
