This is a nicely designed set. I have forgotten how to play Go Fish since it’s been over a decade since I last played so I appreciated the easy to digest rule book to job my memory. The cards are cute - the back cover is a branded go fish, and the front has various diverse people showing an emotion with the emotion word spelled out in text underneath.Since my toddler can’t read yet I’ll be using it to help my toddler’s creativity and imagination and emotional regulation by identifying the facial expressions and emotions.I also like how this game comes with tokens which I haven’t used yet. Great set highly recommend!

This is a well-thought-out game for turning emotional learning into something fun and interactive. The fact that it doesn’t require reading makes it really accessible for younger kids, and the emotion-acting encourages them to express feelings in a low-pressure, playful way. You can play it as a modified Go Fish or use it as a memory match game, which adds nice variety. The bonus action cards and tokens help mix things up and keep the energy light and fun.The cards themselves are colorful and durable, though I wish there was a little more storage organization in the box. Still, this is a solid tool that makes emotional development enjoyable and collaborative.

This Go Fish – Faces & Feelings card game was surprisingly fun, even with just two players. My wife and I played it together and had a great time acting out the emotions and trying to collect matching cards. The gameplay is simple but engaging, and it’s a clever way to reinforce emotional awareness while having fun.I can only imagine how much more exciting and lively it would be with a larger group of players. The cards are colorful and sturdy, and the game doesn’t require reading, which makes it accessible for younger kids or group settings like classrooms or therapy sessions. It’s a great tool for learning emotional expression in a natural, playful way. Whether for home or educational use, this is a smart and fun addition to any family’s or teacher’s collection.

I love this Faces and Feelings Go Fish game. I am a child therapist and this game is great for teaching emotion awareness and helping kids understand different non verbal responses and become more comfortable with their emotions. It allows for deeper discussion about the function of our feelings and discussions around communication. I also thought it was great to go through some of these cards with my 4 year old and discuss some of the more simple emotions and what they mean. She had fun making the different faces! Great addition to a therapists office and helpful to engage those quieter kids or kids that are tactile learners and like to do things with their hands/body while they learn!

This game is such a thoughtful spin on the traditional Go Fish concept. While the rules are familiar and easy to grasp, the emotional focus adds a whole new dimension of learning that I really appreciate. It's engaging, lighthearted, and intuitive. What really makes this stand out is how naturally it encourages children to recognize and talk about feelings. The use of real human photos instead of illustrations gives it a more authentic feel, and the emoji icons are a smart touch to support younger kids who may not read yet.Whether you're using it in a daycare setting or at home, this game doubles as an emotional literacy tool without feeling like a lesson. It’s a fun way to help children build empathy, communication skills, and emotional vocabulary.Highly recommend!

Cute game! Reasonably priced, turning a fun classic game into a learning opportunity on emotions. A great value & now part of my “Feelings, Emotional Regulation, & Empathy” lesson toolkit for my son.

A clever and challenging way for children to explore, practice, and learn about emotions. The first few times are tricky to get the hang of, but my 5yo was able to pick up on the emoji in the upper left corner that she could use as a hit. She also knows how to sound out some words, so having the emotion written as well made it easier for her. We did modify the rules in the package—instead of acting out the emotion, she has to tell me the name of the emotion. Once that becomes really easy for her, we will switch to acting out the emotion instead of asking for a card with words. We like it. It’s fun, and the bonus cards are silly. I find we only ever get two games of it (max) before she’s bored. I still would recommend it as a fantastic alternative to the old fashion Fo Fish.

I don't recommend it, it is poor quality, or it does not reflect the advertising.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars = Has some redeeming quality.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars = It's passable. I might not have bothered.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars = Mostly Satisfied.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars = Entirely Satisfied. Recommend.

These are fantastic for little ones! They’ve been acting out the cards, and matching the words (learning to read the words and matching them with the emotions, total win!) we have been playing each day and they are loving the new dynamic to a favorite game.Highly recommend for 4-6 year olds!

Got this for my nieces. It's a bit corny, but they'll likely benefit from seeing all the different ways people can express different emotions. Some of the photos are very 'actor'-ey, and some are not exactly expressing a particular emotion super clearly (there's one 'happy' card where the woman definitely looks like she's faking it).... But overall, seems like a good learning tool, and it was pretty engaging for the girls. One of them just turned 3 and can't read, but can still play this game (mostly) independently, because she can recognize the emotions, so that's great.Very simple concept, everything you need is in a box about the size of a deck of cards (because that's what it is).
