4.1 out of 5 stars Release date May 12, 2025 Manufacturer Thames & Kosmos

A cooperative party game of conjecture and laughs. Who do you think of when you see a cat? Who would best wear a daredevil parachute jumpsuit? And who of you would prefer to disappear to a desert island? In One of Us, you have to agree on which player you most associate with the card you’ve just turned over — and without discussing it! If the majority vote for the same person you score a point. Can you manage to be on the same wavelength and score ten points?

This game is just okay- I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite, or the most exciting/fun game I’ve ever played. It can become a little predictable after awhile, and it’s not one of those games that gets your blood rushing with excitement.I do, however, think it’s the perfect game for kids/pre-teens! I could easily see a group of kids finding this game hilarious! It’s age appropriate and easy to understand. And low stress, so no need to worry about anyone being a sore loser/getting frustrated. It’s an easy going game. It’s not really ideal for an ice breaker activity, since you need to know the other players personalities to play.As for the game itself: it’s great quality. The box is sturdy and durable, the cards are neatly organized, and it has fun, vibrant colors and a clear print. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. The pricing is reasonable, although just slightly more than I would personally want to spend on a card game ($10 would be ideal in my opinion).Overall: It’s not a terrible game, but definitely not my favorite. It’s great for kids/pre-teens. Easy to play and low stress. It’s well made, and looks eye catching. It’s reasonably priced. I’d recommend it for kids, or even an easy going game to play with family or coworkers, since it requires little explanation. I’d recommend it

This card game from Thames & Kosmos comes in a sturdy box, and the playing cards are of great quality. You can have upto 7 players. There is a large deck that comes with 38 cards with text on them, and 106 image cards. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. They state ages 8 and up can play, but this is simple enough that a few years younger could play as well.We played this first with two adults, and one child who was 11. It was fun - and did not take long at all to play. The second time we played, we had two kids and 3 adults. We had so much fun picking out who amongst us was best suited to the picture or text. And we laughed at how many times there were ties, so we definitely had different opinions on who the card best fit. That made it even more fun!We joked that next time we would include some of our dogs (like family of course) as some of the sayings of pictures fit one of them to a "T"! Of course they would not get to play a card, just us human players.Very pleased with game and would recommend it for friends and family game night!

This game is worth a try as it is reasonable priced and a good ice breaker for a group of friends. A simple game where there are really no right or wrong answers as you are just choosing the person that best associates with the playeing card, either phrase or picture. Majority rules so if most pick the same person, points are awarded. The instructions are clear and the game is well made, I recommend.

This game is great for breaking the ice or showing how well people know each other. The cards are of good quality, vibrant colors, and clear graphics. The instructions booklet is colored and gives clear step-by-step instructions, plus some suggestions for variations to make the game more dynamic. But I can't give it 5 stars because it gets predictable after a few rounds of games. So, it's not a game you can use with the same group of people over and over.I like it. I don't love it.

A silly, fun association-type game for all ages! Quality of the printing and cards are high-quality and as expected for a game set like this. Recommend!• Game arrived quickly.• The game is relatively small and won’t take up much space in a game closet.•The game is essentially two decks of cards: cards to represent the players (colored dinosaurs) and a deck of playing cards (words and pictures).• The game says the minimum age is 8, but I suspect my 4-year-old and 7-year-old could play with a little help.• Instructions are clear and simple.• It would be easy to think through a few variations or even use the cards for other games (charades for example).Overall, this is a fun game for a group, appropriate for all ages, and could likely even be played with younger children. My kids had a blast but it took some practice to think abstractly!

This is an everybody-wins type of game, which is kind of nice for a low-stress, low-stakes event. The game instructions mention being a good ice breaker activity, but I would find this kind of hard to play without knowing everyone. You basically just vote on which cards best describe the players, without conversing first. It can prompt some giggles, but is definitely best suited for a group of kids. The cards are plentiful and colorful, but admittedly not the best quality. They are thin and flimsy and tear easily.

I bought One of Us to play with my 10-year-olds, and they thought it was hilarious. The game is simple to learn, super fast-paced, and had them giggling nonstop. It's all about matching funny prompts to people in your group—like who would wear a parachute jumpsuit or who’s most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse.Overall, it’s a great party game—easy enough for kids, wild enough for adults. Just know your crowd before you break it out!
