I bought this collapsing ladder to reach my cargo box on rop of my Four Wheel Camper/Grandby. They've been working great so far when extending , climbing and collapsing the ladder. I feel very safe and would not hesitate to buy these again!

Better quality than other ladders I have tried. The soft closing is great. Doesn't catch your fingers.

Light and works just as I hoped. Love that you can shrink it with the telescoping arms which makes transport and moving around corners or stairs is a breeze.

I waited a while to review. This ladder is amazing! I love that it is so small, yet holds up to my 180 Lb body going up and down on areas of my house or shed. It’s easy to use and has very little wiggle when in use! The big pads on the bottom are also nice to have. The legs don’t sink into the ground unless it’s really soaking wet. Very happy with my purchase!

Ahh, yes. My nemesis. I am dubbing this such because I just dumped it on my foot. Thankfully it's made with aluminum so I don't think I broke any toes, which actually makes me love it, but I'm being stubborn and calling it my nemesis even so!The only problem I can see with this ladder is that it suffers from the exact same problems as other extension ladder in existence in that it needs both hands to release the ladder while it extends. This leaves you with exactly no hands to hold the ladder with, so instead you're jockeying around with a partial grip for both asks unless you're lucky enough to have a second set of hands to help you out. There is no helping this, though, as that is pretty much how all ladders work.Despite that, I am happy to report that it extends and retracts easily, which was my main concern. Our old extension ladder is maybe 50 or 60 years old now and gets stuck occasionally when trying to extend it, making it difficult to use for quick or simple tasks. This new extension ladder solves this problem beautifully, while compacting down to a small size that is easy to store! I can already tell it's going to get regular use in my family. The fact that it has retaining straps to make sure it stays closed is even better!

It's “okay”. It’s honestly much heavier than any other ladder I’ve ever owned in this length. It’s as heavy or heavier than my 16ft aluminum ladder. It’s also wobbly going up and down. The height adjustment for anything in between the shortest and longest length wasn’t really intuitive, but I did get the hang of it. The ladder rungs also feel a little cheap. The real selling point is how small it can get. If you NEED a ladder and don’t have the place for a traditional one, this is a great option. I can say that despite the things I don’t like about it, it hasn’t let me down yet. Having said that, if you have room for a traditional ladder, get one of those instead. This is a niche piece of equipment with some flaws that really let it down unless you MUST have a collapsible ladder.

4 StarsNice ladder. Very lightweight and easy to maneuver. However! It's a little shaky going up and down. So don't use it without someone to help keep it steady.ALSO!When you're collapsing it be VERY careful or you will get your fingers caught and that will hurt! The way it collapses needs a lot of caution.

This is a 10.5' collapsible ladder, about 2.5' fully collapsed. It is very easy to use. You start from the bottom and pull each section until you hear and feel a click, until you have the desired length. Collapsing it is even easier. You slide a button, and it slowly retracts, relying on air pressure to prevent it from coming down too quickly and crushing fingers. It has a little sway when extended to full length, but it is not terribly different from a traditional extension ladder. The construction feels very solid, with thick aluminum tubes instead of rectangular posts. This makes it heavier than a non-collapsable ladder of similar length. It is rated to 340 lbs. and held the weight of an adult man without a problem. That said, some, if not all, of the locking mechanism is plastic, which concerns me a little.
