I used these flakes to garnish a passionfruit drink I was featuring at my job - it made for a pretty presentation when sprinkled on top of the martini.

I love that this is just dried lilikoi but it's more shimmery than sparkly and imparts very little flavor. Better for sprinkling on baked goods than topping a drink - it melts in pretty quickly.I enjoy this product but it's not a major wow!

These sparkles are gorgeous and make my bevvies so happy!! I put them in a clear glass bottle with a little silica-bag to keep moisture out. Plus I can see how pretty they look. I've been using them on cold and hot drinks-- if you only do a light dusting it gives a pretty sheen to the bevvie and doesn't clump up. I think they'd be lovely on top of a salad w/a few sweeter components (citrus dressing or berries or something). They're delicious and pretty and exactly what I was wanting-- a little whimsy and fun added to everyday pleasures.

I love the appearance and flavor.I am very weird about texture, so for me the texture was the thing I liked the least. It wasn't terrible, it just reminded me of how listerine strips melt and sometimes get stuck against your teeth. Otherwise, they are awesome. I was initially concerned by the little black specks in the flakes. However the company assured me they were just seeds that had been ground down. The response is up in the question section on the product page. Super fun and pretty.

I have been eating more fruit and found that I really enjoy the flavor of passion fruit but it is so expensive, one time at my local store it was $5/ one fruit. So I looked for alternatives to get that flavor in my smoothie and found this product. It is exactly what I wanted. Some powders when opened still don't smell like the fruit but this did and even a half teaspoon that I add to my 8oz smoothie still adds the flavor I look for. I will purchase this again.

I was looking for a longer-lasting option to get passion fruit flavor and came across this. I was curious about the "sparkly" aspect of it. And yes, the flakes sparkle! Looks like the passion fruit pulp was de-seeded and then pressed dry, and the little fruit "sacks" surface dries with reflective quality so they look sparkly. As a sprinkle, it's fantastic--with exciting look and enough flavor as a topping. However it doesn't have enough flavor after being reconstituted in water. So it has limited use, hence the 3 star rating from me.

I topped Christmas cookies with this, was a nice tart counter to excessive sweetness. It will get very brown, found I could add it directly after taking it from oven and it would stick. Very pretty.

Others gave this great reviews. Somehow I expected this to be very similar to real passionfruit juice when rehydrated, but it's not. I put almost the whole bag into a pint or so of some fruit juice and I could barely notice the passionfruit flavor. I'll just stick with buying the 5lbs of passionfruit on Amazon for $42 and squeezing the juice out myself (I store it in the freezer).Maybe this is cool for decorations.
