I recently had a whole day seminar for work and needed to take a ton of crap with me. I was dreading the big bag of stuff and my purse and a big tumbler. I came across this and it was perfect. It has the 3 ring binder and I grabbed some paper to put in it. It has the expandable pocket on the opposite side that held my iPad. It has 2 pen holders inside and a few pockets. It also has a pocket on the outside. There are handles and a carrying strap. The strap has padding which is nice because I loaded it up. I had my work items a wallet and my phone in there. It held up to being opened and closed and carried all over, the whole day. I love the fabric feel instead of a leather or plastic exterior. I had quite a few people ask me where I got it. It is compact but roomy and a different look that makes it unique. For the money- I would take this any day over a briefcase or tote bag. Love it.

I want to start by saying this bag is very well-made and the corduroy feels excellent. As far as space I was able to fit a Microsoft surface tablet iPad Pro with magic keyboard case large full-size five star college ruled binder and a leather bound portfolio with plenty of space to spare. For such seemingly small size bag, the value you get with this piece is unbelievable. This is perfect for someone who has multiple jobs students with busy schedules and on the go professionals who are always moving. The case itself again is very well-made with rubber feet on the bottom to keep from damaging when setting down a shoulder strap long enough for a man that stands 6 1/2 feet tall, and the ability to detach the shoulder strap and simply carry by the handles if desired. I cannot rave about this bag enough.. I highly recommend this if you are in the market for a small tote, capable of increasing productivity without having to lug around large backpacks or other professional cases… highly recommend

At first glance, this shoulder/hand bag looks like a winner. The sturdy corduroy stands out from the crowd of cheaper nylon book bags and knapsacks. That said, the bag isn't thoughtfully designed. The 3-ring binder isn't detachable, and there's no firm surface for writing on paper secured in the binder. Also, when the bag is opened to expose the binder, its footprint is 27 x 13 inches--too wide for a desktop and too space-consuming for a collaborative work table. A second design flaw is the lack of purpose-built pockets. Though there are four compartments, none is sized specifically for pencils/pens, cellphone, notebooks, etc. Finally, despite the large dimensions when fully opened, there's insufficient room for a laptop. In short, this bag seems better designed for accessorizing a Gap Kid than actually serving an everyday student. Looks great but doesn't work well.

Good idea in concept but an actually usable item is questionable.I grew up in the '80s wearing corduroy pants and I didn't enjoy them then. Having a fabric constantly rubbing against my forearm that I hated on my thighs did not feel good after several hours. I do not know who this is marketed towards. Kids today will not like this unless they have the soul of a Pepsi salesman from the 40s, and elder folk such as myself do not enjoy this material due to some form of PTSD. Functionally though, I must admit, it has everything that you would require. The three-ring binder is standard for the us so that works, there is adequate storage but there's nothing to write home about. There is no particular feature about this that stands out in a positiveThe only things that do stand out are the negatives, meaning the major selling point of the material. Don't ever get this wet or you will have wet dog on you for the rest of your life. Though I do give a lot of negatives, I will admit functionally, it meets and exceeds what you need. However, the look is not worth the actual feel and the cost of the lifespan for the material. it's a very good niche item for a very particular person, and if that is you then by all means, get this. But for the average layman, they will get this and be very very disappointed

I got this zipper binder to sort, organize, and carry medical records with me to doctor appointments. It should work. The description talks about '5 large pockets' but I can't find 'em! There's a magnetic snap pocket on the outside and it does hold my three year 8 ½ by 11 planner/calendar, so that's large, and easy to access quickly too.Inside there's a two section accordion-type file, (two more 'large' pockets?) but that will NEVER hold a 'full size laptop' as suggested! And certainly there's nowhere to store the power cord for one. However it will absolutely hold my large tablet, in it's protective case, in one side, with it's charger, so that's great. And the other side should handle a calculator if you have one, and a phone and its charger too. Maybe that's also the place for a small pen/pencil case. Yep, I think that will work! There is a zipper 'pocket' on the front of the accordion file, but you would be hard pressed to fit a piece of paper in it. It's tight. There IS a net pocket inside the back , which will be under any papers you put in the three ring binder, which is Stainless Steel btw. If you put the promised 500 pages in there, you won't want much in that net pocket. But it is there. So, I guess 5 pockets....kinda.It certainly is high quality corduroy cloth, and the zipper is nice and heavy. Came with a long, plain, adjustable nylon shoulder strap, with a sliding pad. It's ok.The two handles at the 'top' or right side in use are soft, heavy corduroy also, easy on the hand. Comfortable to use. It has two wide PVC 'feet' to protect the bottom from wear too. Nice. It's plenty wide enough for my records, with room for tabbed dividers too.I like it, but keeping one star 'cause those pockets are really pretty useless. And I don't see a kid carrying it for school as in the illustrations.FOUR STARS
