I bought this for an adult crested gecko. I liked how this was larger than the other versions of this hide and also that it had an open back so I could see if she was in there. I found her sleeping inside today with more than enough room to stretch. The magnets are pretty strong and it’s holding her up nicely (she’s about 37g for reference).

If you zoom in, you can see there are multiple rough spots on one side. The inside is rough and sharp in those spots. We’re going to try to hang it with that side facing up as our axolotl isn’t large enough to fully fit the hide. When she gets bigger, we’ll have to remove it. I certainly hope I’m right otherwise, this will scratch her up. It certainly was very rough on my finger. Idk if this is a one off or if all of them are made this way. If it’s the latter, I’d suggest getting something else. Very disappointed with this purchase.

My boy seems to love this hide! It is attractive and functional. The shimmer is beautiful in person. No sharp edges due to it being 3D printed which I love - nothing to sand down, perfect for delicate axolotl skin. 10/10 would purchase again!
