Bought this for my new Suzuki outboard motor, I also have one installed on my lawn tractor for nine years now. Very simple to install, very accurate. I would recommend this to everyone who needs to keep accurate tract of hours on their motors. No guessing as to when you need to change oil or other services.

Installation is effortless. Attach this little meter to your generator, motorcycle. lawn mower, outboard motor or other single piston engine using velcro or sheet metal screws. Insert the supplied length of inductive wire into the meter. Wrap the other end of that wire around the spark plug wire of your engine. When the spark plug is firing, the meter's processor logs the time. The meter displays the cumulative time logged in hours and tenths. Operating power for the meter comes from a sealed internal battery.It works fine for me and installation was tool-free, taking perhaps a minute. Other types of meters are somewhat less expensive, but when I looked into their installation, I found that the other meters require a significantly greater knowledge of the right electrical outputs of your engine and then more effort in attaching the wiring to the right place. I chose to avoid that aggravation and am glad I did. This Sendec does everything I want at an affordable price and the simplicity of installation was a delight.
