If you are still using the jaws-type staple remover, then give this one a try. The trick is to keep a slight downward pressure on the paper as you slide the blade under the staple and across the paper; don't pull up. The staple is lifted by the contour of the tool as you slide it horizontally across the page, removing the staple in a single motion. Much faster and easier than "jaws".
