Buick had a recall on the 2005 Buick LaCrosse for potential "headlamp module" failure. I waited too long to have the repair done. I replaced the relay with this one, which worked great! No long wait at the shop!

Bought this in May of 2019. Last night my lights don’t work. So I guess it lasted for a little less then a year. Maybe I got a dud. Perhaps this supply is cheaper then everybody else for a reason??

This also used as a low beam relay. It works and is a little more reasonable than some of the other choices.

I've now figured out that jumping someone's dead car battery is what kills these modules for me, namely the headlight module. (Maybe because I connected the negative to the battery instead of some other ground?). This module was the exact same relay and has worked now for a year.

Easy remove the old #46 relay and replace with this one and your low beam headlights will work again. Hard issue to find what is wrong with the low beam lamps, but this is 99% of the time the problem. There is a service bulletin about this problem, but it is hard to find.
