The netting you get is not what is shown in the picture. It's super thin.I bought it to make an aviary for my small cockatoo. It's so thin he will bite right through it. It's like stainless steel thread. Not at all what I thought I would get.

After doing battle with the birds, for whatever is produced in my garden, fort over 20 years, I finally came up with a solution which works: hardware cloth cages. The one in the photo was made fort my blueberry bush, but it does not have any berries on it right now so I moved it until it does.I have found that 10mm hardware cloth works best because pollinators can still get in, but it keeps out a variety of pests. This hardware cloth is 10mm (or roughly 1/4") openings, which is ideal.I thought I had discovered this, and... I did, but was not the first. I finally readf Square foot gardening, and this is exactly what is recommended in the book.Ifg you are having trouble with birds eating your crops, or other aimals nibbling the leaves and stems, give this a try.TYhis hardware cloth is as gopod as any I have used, and you can even secure your cages with the wire used to keep the roll together.

I ordered this to help create enough trellises around my home garden. I have scrap wood and stakes are cheap so I figured I could use this to fashion some quick DIY trellises. It works for perfectly for my intended purposes.

I put this chicken wire type mesh under my raised beds to prevent the gophers and other critters from coming up through the bottom, but still allowing water to drain. Since I grow fruits and vegetables in my beds, being lead free is a necessity.It is a little thin at .8 mm, but workable for my purposes. It is easy to cut and bend as needed, and you get a decent sized roll of it, at a comparable or better price than the big box home improvement stores. I would recommend.
