I had to build a fence which required the digging of 68 x 3 foot deep holes through a complex, rural wooded area. Nightmare? Yes. I could not have done it without this little wheel. Attached it to my cordless angle grinder and it fit down in the holes and easily sliced through the roots. Saved me some serious back ache and cursing. Does get dull after about 15 holes full of roots, but I have no complaints for how long it lasted!

I was very excited to get this. The excitement ended pretty quickly when after about five minutes of use (carving a tray out of Popular) the disc was in three pieces, the front and back plates and the chain. The front and back are held together by not glue! I'm returning this piece of junk and going with the bean name version.

Product worked great until it fell a whole 3 feet to the floor off a table in my shop...then it completly broke into 3 pieces! Very poorly constucted....

It's an amazingly effective saw blade. I've used this with a right-angle Makita grinder to true out-of-round offroad tires, notch 2x4's among various other non-metallic cutting tasks, and the aggressive performance of this thing has to be seen to be believed...it will slice right through a tire in seconds, steel belts and all. Accordingly, It's also AMAZINGLY dangerous...the best work gloves aren't going to stand a ghost of a chance against this thing, so WORK SMART, make damn sure you have a great grip on whatever tool you have this thing mounted on, and that the work angle/rotation direction will not cause a "kick back" when this super-aggressive blade contacts the workpiece!!

Totally bad**s cutting wheel for an angle grinder. Show it some respect and where protective gear like safety glasses, tough work gloves, boots, coveralls, and even a mask of some type that you can breath through. I also like to wear a wet shemagh over my hair and ears to keep all the debris from getting in my hair and ears and to cool me off. This thing flings out major chunks and especially if you remove the angle grinder guard like I did to work on a wooden sculpture project I'm still working on. It puts your digits dangerously close to potential accidental loss so again, BE CAREFUL AND SHOW THIS THING SOME RESPECT!!!

I'd like to start off by saying this thing is amazing and don't be fooled by the price. If you plan on doing any kind of carving I would absolutely recommend this. It will save you so much time and you'll find other things that you probably want to attack. I looked at a couple different ones but there's nothing super complicated about it so why pay more. So, I got this to carve some legs for a table on building and after I got done doing the rough work with this tool I ended up carving on some wood slices I had made earlier this year. I started to dig into it to make a bowl with no real experience doing such a thing this tool or this attachment if you will, made light work of scooping away the wood.WARNING.... just like many of the other reviews keep both hands on the grinder when using this. If it kicks back or you lose control trying to hold with one hand it won't end well. Like I said, it scoops away wood... Just imagine what it would do to you.

Far easier to use that it would appear. At first, I suspected a loser - from China and already a little rusty. The chain can spin on the frame, but doesn't unless you bite too hard. BEWARE: anything in it's path will be consumed, FAST. I'm using mine to trim the uneven ends of the logs on my log home. You won't get a planer smooth surface, but if all you need to do is hog off a lot of wood, it works great. A must for anybody who does chain saw art!BTW, looks like you could sharpen this with a chain saw file and keep it going for a long time. I'll be buying another when (if) this one wears out.

I had to return it because the item was sent to me rusty. Maybe sitting in a moist warehouse or closet, idk, but my intent was to purchase brand spanking new. Maybe the look didn't really matter or maybe that would be ok with an experienced handler, but I could not take the chance of it snapping or simply aging faster than a clean one would. Didn't even open it. Amazon is very good on returning items and issuing your money back without the headache.
