Jeru is a leading commercial cutlery manufacturer for the meat processing and food service industries, and one of the largest private label knife manufacturers producing cutlery for some of the world's largest knife brands. Jeru also manufacturers some of the most innovative and unique home lines of cutlery and kitchen tools, using the same commercial grade materials they use in their professional lines. The jerk spring assisted shears were designed originally for a major us kitchenware brand, but after millions of units sold and becoming one of the most popular kitchen shears, the us company was taken over by an investment company that decided more profit could be made having a copy of the shears made in china using low quality materials, buying them at a fraction of the cost of the original commercial grade. The price was increased, but the quality was reduced. Jeru is excited to be able to offer the original commercial grade spring assisted shears, still manufactured by jerk in Portugal, using German high-carbon stainless steel, tough impact resistant polymer handles, and industrial strength spring, to ensure years of use.

Nice strong sharp kitchen shears, I Love the Magnetic holder. Very functional and convenient, always know where they are .

My pampered chef shears wore out. This have worked great. Clipping them closed is annoying but doable. Would buy again.

After 20 years, I had to buy a replacement because the spring broke in half. Never had to sharpen them and they went in the dishwasher everyday.

These are the BEST kitchen scissors ever and if you don’t have a pair of these you need to purchase some!!!

I received an unmarked scissor. It is not stamped, no brand name.It is NOT a Jero! This is a knock-off. The description and pictures are misleading.
