The distance between the fans was too close. The position of the actual support "shelves" blocked the air intakes to of my laptop.

Its a great product but not for my laptop. Its super sturdy and robust. the fan is cheap but its a nice concept. If the holding bars were a bit thinner I would have kept as they corners of the part holding up the laptop on my unit (acer nitro 17.3) were blocked by it.

Knowing this is a Sturdy laptop stand, no one has talked about the cooling pad in the middle of the fans.I lifted my laptop up after 24 hours, and water poured out. Which was concerning. I checked and I didn't have the fan's lined up so the water didn't get inside my laptop. I have added spacers and it is still cooling well. But being in a humid environment the condensation could be an issue.

This laptop stand is very sturdy with my 16 inch laptop, the cooling while not contacting the bottom of my computer still does a good job helping to reduce the heat. It's well designed and built I recommend it based on my gear and preferences. It is not a portable stand, please note it doesn't fold and it's heavy.

Quality: This product is made out of heavy duty metal and can hold my large and heavy Alienware m15 r7. Fits honestly perfect.Fans: The built in fans are nice and are powered by a usb c cable.Adjusting: This stand is nice because you can adjust the height.Overall this product is super high quality and helps keep my gaming laptop nice and cool
