If you use soil blocks to start your seeds, do not hesitate to buy this blocker!It is incredibly beefy and well-made - a superb value compared to the traditional branded blocker.Eight blocks at a time is an extra nice bonus!

Much better then the 4 block. Just have to remember to dip rinse after a couple dips in soil or the blocks won't come out in a nice block.

Works good I needed more moisture my 1st time trying second set of blocks came out better. Practice will help with the learning process. Happy Growing.... update 4/2025 does rust very easily.

I got this to start doing away with plastic pots since I have heard a lot of good about air pruning that these do. I had purchased one a few years ago and liked it but it didn't have the dimple makers for the seeds to go into. I was looking forward to them but the instructions don't cover that part of the block. I am not sure how some of the parts go together so I will have to watch you tube or some gardening show that tells you how to get a square with a thread into the blocker or if it even goes in the blocker. The dimples can be added and removed fairly easily. Also there is no sample recipes for the best soil to use in these blockers. Does have a nice return spring and feels pretty heavy duty.Since I have used one in the past I know how they work and this is just like any other. If it matters it is made in China.
