Have only had the chance to use the luxury seat for a few weeks now -- but it appears to be a well-made and quality product. The seat is perfect for our 31-pound Mini-Bernadoodle. She loves to curl up on the cushion to snooze, and the extra elevation provides her the ability to catch views from the car windows when she wants. My fear was that she wouldn't want to climb into the seat -- but she took to it immediately. :)

In hindsight the smaller size would have been fine for my dog (a rat pinscher, ~19lbs) and better suited for my car's back seats. My dog is a bit fussy but took a liking to it quickly; nice fleecy material on top of a firm base and walls. It offers a pretty good booster height for her to lie down but still see out window of my hatchback. The drawer in the front is very convenient and a good size; I keep a collapsible water bowl, some treats and other miscellaneous items in there. It's pretty secure with the strap along the back, but does wobble a bit if my dog decides to lean forward as the cushion hangs over car seat a bit (but this is also because the dog seat doesn't lay quite flat across my car's back seats, where there's a raised portion in middle); I just adjust my front passenger seat angle back to brace the front of the dog seat and it's fine. It arrived in perfect condition with no stray stitches, frays, or seams. My dog hates getting her paws messy so the seat hasn't really gotten dirty enough for me to consider taking cover off to do a wash; I've found the muni car vacuum cleaner I have to be sufficient.

This is the second one that I’ve purchased. It’s a beautiful lounger, wish I had one. Jazzie (my mini schnauzer) gets right in, fits her butt into the back corner and settles in for the car ride. She loves being able to see out the windows. Would I buy another? You bet!

This was an excellent product, but I failed to measure my car interior to make sure it would fit. This will only fit in a back seat. It is very comfortable. I was going to return it, but the shipping return cost were almost as much as the car seat itself, so I kept it. It is making a very comfortable lounging bed for my babies. Otherwise, honestly it would have been great, so take the extra time and measure.

This is a great product!!! I have been searching for a long time to find a dog bed/seat for my car, that would accommodate both my Chihuahuas (6 lbs. & 12 lbs.). The cushion is easily removable for cleaning/vacuuming as needed and is securely buckled into the back seat. In addition, two seat belt attachments were included to allow dogs to be "buckled in" by their harness.

My dogs are traveling in style! They love being able to see out the window and I love that they are securely tethered in a safe place while I drive. The cushion is separate from the base in this model which makes for easy clean up. The construction and materials are very high quality. The stuffing/padding is thick and soft.The fabric is plush and easy care. The drawer is large enough to store most of the essentials you need on a short road trip. My 15 pound boy and his 8 pound sister share the bed when we travel. There is plenty of room for the two of them to stretch out without any crowding. I purchased this dog bed used which cut the cost in half, but this bed is worth the money. These Snoozer car seats last forever. My groomer has one that is more than 20 years old and still in use.

I got this for travel with my Norwegian Buhund. She is 35l lbs give or take. This is just right for her with say 5 lbs wiggle room . The Seat is positioned pretty high which is nice because she can lay down and still see out from a laying position. I do not use the cushion to me it just makes it to high and her unbalanced. I put the seat in the back seat and turned it length way using the front passenger seat as a brace. This way I can bring down the middle arm rest in the back seat. I also using the seat belt and enclosed strap along with a harness to keep her secure. She has plenty of room to turn around, sit up, lay down and be comfortable . I like the material it is washable. I got the black because I have a black dog. I also like the drawer. I keep extra poop bags, water bowl , leash , bones and toys for travel. All in all I am very happy with this purchase. I have had it for about 1 month .

UPDATE AFTER ! YEAR: still going strong! Still washes great! No stretching or tearing of cover...I wash it in the washer and dry it in the dryer most of the time...sometimes I air dry.I purchased this because my frenchie got car sick. I drive a sports car w bucket seats, and she was too low in the seat to see out. This was perfect for the front seat... I just turned it sideways! the foam lets the seatbelt grab on to it just like if it were the regular way. I got the large because I own two frenchies... one 21 pounds and one 25 pounds. They fit just fine together, and both of them can stretch out. Yes, they do touch each other, but they crate together and are litter mates so they'd do it anyway. The color really hides dirty paw prints. My dogs are light in color, so the hair shows, but it washes easily.It comes with a pillow that you can skip using if your dog would need higher walls on the sides to encourage him to stay in the bed. Did that the first couple times w my dogs just so that they'd get the concept, then put the pillow back in for good.The cover slips on/off more easily than I would have suspected. So far, it washes well. The drawer is useless for us, but some might find it handy for bowls etc. The strap is a nice touch and of good quality. The foam sides are not of the best/most dense quality, but am confident this will last me a while. Recommended.

Fits in my car in the front seat but sideways. Very secure as I can move the seat to make it snug against the dashboard! Will fit better in the back seat as it was intended with the seat belt.. This was to hold 2 small dogs but I think my Pomeranian has taken full possession of it. He loves it! Haven't taken them for a ride yet with it. But, in the house they love it as a doggie bed! My Pomeranian used it all day in the house. Makes for a nice day bed also. Size of the pull out drawer, impressive! Will hold their leashes no problem.I may go for a smaller size, as the Pomeranianthinks its only for him! And give the other dog a chance!I may have to purchase another one so it fits properly in the front seat and the other dog can have this one in the back seat.Overall, very impressed with it. And delivery was phenomenalYou won't be disappointed with this product!!.Love the colour!

Our new rescue dog was quite a "wild child" in the car. Someone had to sit with her in the back seat and hold her collar to prevent her from jumping around the car. So we bought the "Snoozer II". It didn't take long for her to recognize the advantage of sitting up higher. She wears a harness in the car which is attached to one of the headrests in the back seat by a short lead. This gives her enough room to move around, lay down, etc, but not enough to jump out of "her seat." We haven't taken any long trips yet, but itwill come in handy as a portable dog bed when we travel. It's easy to install. This size takes up more than half of the back seat in my car, but she is too big for the smaller size. The information with the seat suggests securing the short lead (2 were provided with the seat) to the center of the seat-belt with a safety pin. I was afraid my dog might pull hard enough to spring the safety pin, so I attached it to the headrest, which seems a safer option to me.
