Come partecipante al programma Vine di Amazon, ho ricevuto questo prodotto gratuitamente, ma la mia opinione si basa su un utilizzo reale e imparziale.Ho testato questo sensore di temperatura e umidità con protocollo Zigbee e devo dire che funziona molto bene. La connessione al mio hub Zigbee è stata veloce e stabile, e i dati vengono aggiornati con buona frequenza e precisione.Il design è compatto, discreto e si adatta facilmente a qualsiasi ambiente domestico. Tuttavia, le istruzioni allegate risultano poco chiare, soprattutto per chi non è esperto di domotica o protocolli Zigbee. Un QR code con una guida più dettagliata sarebbe stato gradito.Nel complesso un buon prodotto, affidabile e preciso, ma per l’esperienza utente complessiva merita 4 stelle per via della documentazione poco esplicativa.

questo misuratore per me è stato la svolta, avendo un balcone illuminato in maniera alternata durante la giornata questo misuratore mi permette di capire velocemente quando le mie piante hanno piu bisogno di acqua e generalmente mi permette di prestare piu attenzione alle piante piu fragili del mio orticello e da quando lo sto usando la differenza che si nota è abissale, il fatto che possa controllare tutti i parametri tramite lo smartphone è veramente qualcosa di utile sopratutto quando devo regolare l'irrigazione delle piante da remoto. un accessorio che non credevo mi servisse ma che ad oggi non riuscirei a rinunciare

Sensore per il terreno preciso, compatto e con una lunga autonomia. Si associa rapidamente all'app senza problemi e ha una ottima continuità di servizio.Un paio di raccomandazioni:1) E' un prodotto Zigbee, quindi la batteria dura tanto, ma per funzionare è necessario dotarsi di un apposito gateway Zigbee che fa da interfaccia verso il WiFi di casa, NON funziona con il WiFi domestico diretto.2) Quando si richiude il vano delle pile attenti ad inserire bene il sottile PCB del sensore nella guida a binario del case che si vede poco, altrimenti si rischia di perdere l'impermeabilità e si rompe con le innaffiate.3) abbiate cura di inserire bene la base all'interno per 80 mm come si vede in foto utilizzando l'apposita scala graduata per ottenere misure precise.In generale un buon prodtto.

Sensore Zigbee per misurare temperatura ed umidità del suolo.L’ho integrato in un attimo in HomeAssistant tramite Zigbeet2MQTT.Il sensore si alimenta tramite due batterie mini-stilo/AAA, incluse nella confezione.Ottimo strumento per tenere sotto controllo le proprie piante, sapere quando è il momento di dare acqua regolando la giusta umidità del terreno, ed eventualmente essere avvertiti tramite delle automazioni su HomeAssistant della necessità di irrigare nuovamente, oppure della non necessità di irrigare se il terreno è già umido.Grazie a questo sensore, integrato in un contesto di irrigazione domotica, è possibile anche far partire l’irrigazione automatica solo quando serve, in base al livello di umidità del terreno e delle fasce orarie.

Dopo aver testato questo sensore con il mio sistema domotico, posso dire che è un accessorio molto pratico per chi vuole monitorare con precisione umidità e temperatura del terreno. L’installazione è stata abbastanza semplice: è bastato collegarlo al mio hub Zigbee (uso Home Assistant con Zigbee2MQTT) e il dispositivo è stato subito rilevato. La trasmissione dei dati è stabile e aggiornata con buona frequenza.Apprezzo il fatto che funzioni con due batterie AAA (incluse), che garantiscono una lunga autonomia senza dover ricorrere a batterie a bottone. La lettura dell’umidità è affidabile e il sensore si comporta bene anche in ambienti esterni, a patto di inserire correttamente il piccolo PCB nella guida per mantenere l’impermeabilità. Ottima anche la scala graduata sulla sonda che aiuta a posizionarla con precisione.Il design è compatto e discreto, adatto sia per piante in vaso che per orti sul balcone. Da quando lo uso riesco a intervenire solo quando necessario, evitando irrigazioni inutili o in ritardo. Trovo molto comoda la possibilità di creare automazioni per avviare o sospendere l’irrigazione in base ai valori misurati, anche da remoto.Unico punto migliorabile: le istruzioni incluse sono piuttosto sintetiche e poco chiare per chi non ha familiarità con i sistemi Zigbee. Un QR code con una guida dettagliata sarebbe stato molto utile.Nel complesso è un buon prodotto, preciso, stabile e utile nella gestione intelligente delle piante. Lo consiglio a chi ha già un hub Zigbee e vuole integrare un controllo più consapevole e automatizzato dell’irrigazione.

After two minutes the device goes into sleep mode and pressing the pairing button won't be recognized. If for some reason you missed that 2-minute window simply take out a battery, then replace the battery and start again.I was very pleased with the signal travelling about 30 feet and through 2 interior walls.The Smart Life apps is little wonky; after switching from Celsius to Fahrenheit the app is reporting the temperature incorrectly. The sensor actually provides the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, but when I switched to Fahrenheit the app is converting the temperature like it was provided in Celsius. Therefore, the temperature is much higher than one would expect. For me this is not an issue because I'm going to use my own home automation system, and I won't do any unnecessary temperature corrections. For those interested DPS 3 is the humidity, DPS 5 is the temperature, DPS 9 is temperature units and DPS 15 is the battery level.On power up the device is reports about every 2 1/2 minutes for 20 minutes and then it reports about every hour and a quarter. I think this is a very reasonable reporting period to save power for a soil sensor. These numbers are longer than the documentation specified.It uses 2 AAA batteries, provided.I can't speak to the accuracy of the device but we're talking about a soil sensor for a plant so as long as we're in the ballpark I think we're good.For me it's five stars because I'm not using the app. If you're using the Smart Life app, I'd say you'd be disappointed that the temperature isn't being reported properly. So I'm giving it four stars.

I'm quite excited about this soil sensor. Pairing to my Hubitat Elevation hub wasn't hard, but for some reason I did have to fiddle with the batteries a few times before they were seated correctly and the device worked. Once the included AAA batteries are in, you hold down a little button on the inside—on the side opposite the batteries—for about 6–12 seconds. Eventually a little green LED blinks to show it's in pairing mode.The fact that it uses AAA batteries instead of coin batteries is nice. Sure it's bigger, but AAA's last a lot longer and are much less expensive to replace. Supposedly the batteries can last for about a year. After all, the device only reports back to the hub every hour (after the initial 20 minutes, during which is reports every 2 minutes).The Hubitat Elevation hub assigned it the "Tuya Temperature Humidity Illuminance LCD Display with a Clock" driver, which I had downloaded previously from Github. Like many other Tuya devices, this device uses a nonstandard way of reporting information, which makes standard drivers useless. This Tuya driver did work, but I had to manually configure the driver to see the device as the TS0601_Soil_II Model Group.Once that's done, it reports the temperature and the moisture, though the latter is presented as humidity. As the manual explains, the device tests the relative humidity of the soil. So what matters is not what absolute value it has but rather how much the value changes. A dry pot might still register 30%, for example, but you know it's dry because it's down from 70%.Anyway, I am pleased with this device. I'm torn on whether to dock it a point for not having an easy driver. However, I think given that it wasn't too hard to get it working, I'll go 5 stars.
