I use this for taking chilled food to work. I have used it for yoghurt, eggsalad, etc. It keeps my food chilled for at least 6 hours. Very handy for yoghurt with fruit and granola for example. Leak proof. Easy to clean.

I bought two of these so that meals would not need to be reheated for lunch or dinner. The first time I only put hot water in them for a few minutes and the food was barely luke warm by lunch time. The next time I used kettle heated water and left them for about thirty minutes to heat up. This time the food was still pipping hot by lunch time!

This was one of the best investments I have made. I bought this for my son to have hot lunches at school. I put his food in this thermos at 6am and by his lunch at 11:45 it is still hot. While the food is cooking add some boiling water to the thermos and let it sit until the food is done. Then just dump the water, dry it out and put the food it. My only suggestion is place a paper towel on the bottom to soak up any condensation

If you are tired of feeding your kid a sandwich every day, then this is something I recommend that is easy to use, easy to clean, and very affordable. I usually put some leftovers from the previous night into the thermos.. heat up in the morning (on a separate plate), put back into the thermos, and it is still hot come lunch time. It is also very heavy duty. Well worth the price!

My son uses it for his school lunch and says his macaroni and ravioli stay very warm. I tested chicken nuggets in it and they did stay warm but obviously didn't stay crisp. I do handwash it except occasionally I take the rubber gasket off and wash the top plastic lid. Hasn't seemed to alter the heating at all by doing that. He has been using the same one 3-4 times a week and the inside hasn't chipped at all like his previous other brand one. I highly recommend this one!! And it's super cute!

Great insulated to-go jar/container. I use it to pack my hot oats (bc cold oats are gross, kidding!!) and keep my oats hot while I get to my destination it also does a great job at keeping my yogurt (with toppings) cold and prevents it from spoiling! I usually pack my oats around 6:30 am to consume them around 8 am and still hot. If I pack yogurt with fruit it's usually packed around 8 or 9 am and consumed at maybe 1 or 2 pm, 5 hours later, and still cold.My favorite part is that I don't need to pack ice packs to keep my yogurt cold and the container itself isn't bulky as its counterparts. I have also not had any issues with leaking at all and easy to wash. Can't beat the price and quality.

I had this jar since April (2022) and the only thing I tried with it is to keep something cold..cool it works well with the cold. On Sept. 30th &Oct. 1st (2022) I tried taking some hot soup for work... so after reading reviews and watching a youtube review about how to keep food "hot", they suggested boiling hot water and pouring it in the jar and wait for about couple of mins for the jar to warm up and poured out water. I did as suggested and then poured the hot soup... Well i am quite amazed.Although food doesnt actually stay hot, the jar manged to keep my soup warm as it cool down some for about 5/6 hours.

My child just started elementary, so I’m new to this whole pack a lunch thing. In the beginning, I would pack all kinds of cold items, just for him to bring them back home. I started sending “room temp” versions of our dinner, and even that was hit or miss. Then I just started packing snack type foods, so my child wouldn’t starve. Yep, I was that mom sending my kid to school with a whole array of processed foods. Enter this amazing invention-Simple Modern 12oz Provision Food Jar with Handle Lid!!!! Best invention ever! On the first day my son used it, he came home with the biggest smile ever! He finished all of his lunch! Not only that, but he told me it was still warm! I couldn’t believe it! I had to try it for myself.!I put food in it at 7am and when I remembered at 4pm, it was still warm. Yes!!!!How I use: I pour water in a cup and heat in the microwave for 3mins. I then pour the hot water into the food jar and place the lid. After about 5 mins, I heat whatever food my son is taking until it is very warm. I then pour the water out of the food jar and put his warm food in and replace the lid. (I don’t screw it on too tight, because he won’t be able to open.) This is the perfect method for us. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future for my other kids!

I love this thing. I’ve used it twice so far and it’s awesome! First use I put a pot on the over and boiled some water and filled it up and let it sit with it’s lid on for a good while (about 10 minutes). I heated up the soup and dumped the water out and put the soup immediately in. It was left for 5 hours and when I opened it steam was coming out. It was hot and needed to be blown on before eating. Next day was chicken nuggets and it was left for 4.5 hours and had the same boiling water prep as before, except I quickly dried it out with a napkin as best I could (it was steaming hot) and put the nuggets in. They were fresh out of the oven when I put them in and 4.5 hours later they were a perfect warm for serving. I will be able to pack my kids a hot lunch this winter because of these and for that I am grateful!
