These are perfect for lowering and lifting a round loaf of artisan bread in and out of a hot enameled cast iron pot. When I bake my sourdough or artisan loaves I use a super hot cast iron pot for baking. The pot is preheated to a super high temperature to get that nice crust. I ordered these to keep from burning my hands every time I bake bread. Works like a charm.

I was skeptical, but I hate using parchment and getting bad pleats. I love the different sizes and shapes in this set! They work just as they should but do try them in your vessels before you start baking. I was unsure about the straps, but first loaf, I just folded them over the dough and got a great oven spring and beautiful dome, which didn't seem to be bothered by them. Perhaps for a fancy design it would be better to fold them back. I use a drop of oil, but that's my standard anyway.

These silicone baking mats are great for sourdough bread and fit our Dutch ovens perfectly. We used to rely on parchment paper, but I didn't like the waste with every bake. These are a fantastic reusable alternative and hold up well to the high temps. A must-have for any home baker!

This is a great addition to my sourdough baking supplies! I got tired of going through parchment paper so quickly and decided to give these slings a try. So far I've only used the large circular one since I make boules and it has worked very well. I've used it multiple times and have had no issues with removing my bread off the sling. At first, I was a bit worried about the heat resistance but the sling comes out looking exactly the same and has no weird smells. It fits great and is very easy to use. I'd highly recommend this set!

High quality silicone that fits my smaller dutch over perfectly. I have not used the enlongated one as much, but it also seems to be functional. They work well and clean up easily. Definitely reusable. I've made 5 or so loaves of sourdough with them and they don't even look used.

So far I'm happy with this product. It worked as intended for baking sourdough at 475 in a enameled Dutch oven.If you are wondering about size for use in a Dutch oven I found that the medium sized one worked best for my 6qt. The largest was too large and would be better suited for a 7 or 8 qt Dutch oven. I don't own any other compatible sizes so I can't speak to that.I've included a photo of how my last boule fit perfectly on the mid sized sling inside a 6qt Martha Stewart brand enamel Dutch oven. Don't mind the slightly dark boule, that's purely baker error.As I continue to use these, I'll update this review if necessary.

These are gorgeous and really great quality. I'm super impressed how well they work and I'm extra excited that I can stop cutting parchment paper for the bottom of my Dutch ovens every time I bake. Definitely feels more sustainable in the long term. Plus, I can lift my load out instead of dumping it over, which saves the looks of the top crusty bits. Very happy with these.
