Leider ein zu schwacher Laser , auf 50 m bei Tageslicht ohne Sonnenschein sieht man auf 50 m nichts mehr. Nur bedingt tauglich

Fairly decent bore sight. Still saved a few rounds by using it...

Chambered it , while on a rest at the club. Old sniper scopes with offsets, it saved a lot of now expensive ammo. So, I bought a couple more.

This bore sight is useless . It’s not true center .If you rotate it while in the barrel it moves a lot .The only thing it good for is sighting in rifle & it is useless for that . I highly recommend not buy one of these . Big waste of money .

Received this product and it does not work. I am going to buy 2 more batteries and see if that is the reason, but I took the two batteries supplied, out of the original container. Wish I could say something else, but when the device arrives and out of the box doesn't work? I will update after I find a place to purchase these batteries and see if that is the problem.Update. Got new batteries. Works now. Sucks to find that type of battery when they were suppose to be included with the purchase. I changed the review to 3 stars. Just because it didn’t work out of the box and I had to spend another $11 for two batteries.

Good product that fits well in the chamber. Saved significant time in sighting in the rifle and scope. Well done.

I've tried over half a dozen makes and models of bore sights. The only one that works with muzzle brakes, and flash hiders is this one! Period! There is another brand out there that makes a similar model of chamber bore sight that I tried, and right out of the box that one refracted the laser beam off the barrel bore and was unusable. I've got 7 of the Sightmark chamber bore sights, and every one is spot on right out of the box. I won't use anything else.

Könnte ganz praktisch sein, ist aber nur bis ca 50m wirklich sichtbar. Der traditionelle Blick durch den Lauf funktioniert nach wie vor. Die sehr kleinen Batterien gehen leicht verloren.

Let me start this review by saying I am in no way sponsored, paid, or given discounts for my reviews.Normally that would piss me off but you get what you pay for in this case. If you want a reliable bore sight to get you on paper to zero in a rifle then this is the bore sight for you. I have NEVER had luck with a bore sight until I got into sightmark products. I not have 11 of their bore sights, and 21 of their optics ranging from basic red dots, reflex sights, and scopes. I use their products because they work and they don't break my bank.

Makes adjustments more efficient when I switch out my scopes on my guns to testout the best fit. I use another laser to validate my position. It`s a great Tools to have and reduce the ammo you use.

After having a negative experience shopping with Brownell's (they advertised incorrectly that a .308 boresighter would fit my Mauser) I spoke to the MFR and they directed me to the correct part number - this one. After boresighting with this laser and using a generic boresighting target @ 25 feet (set scope dead center ~2" above laser boresight and center windage) my rifle hit on paper right on the money at 100 yards without maybe five rounds worth of windage correction sight-in.Excellent product.

This is for the 7.62x54r Boresight. I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 stars because it doesn't have an on-off switch. It turns on the moment you complete the circuit (put in both batteries) which is annoying. Other than that, it worked great. It comes with a little case so you can store the sight and batteries separately, and I've used it without problems.I think people expect more from a laser boresight than it's meant to provide, all it does is provide a tool to make zeroing-in EASIER; there's nothing you can do with this boresight that you can't do by looking down the bore with the old Mk 1 eyeball. However, you don't have to lock the rifle down, you just turn on the sight, chamber it, and then look down the sight/scope and adjust till it's centered.People also complained about the battery life, but it says right on the package battery life is less than 10 minutes. What else do you expect? It's a laser the size of a bullet, OF COURSE it needs batteries with tiny capacity, nothing else will fit! And besides, it takes all of 30 seconds to chamber it, zero the sight, then pop it out again. I've checked the sights on two stock Mosin Nagants, zeroed the scope on a third, and zeroed the target peep on a Finn M28/76, and the batteries that came with the sight are still going strong.Make an effort to conserve battery life and know what this tool is, and you'll be a happy customer.
