I used this oil in my 2016 25hp Mercury. Looks and feels the same as all better known brand names. I am confident that this stuff is just as good and comes at a great price. I change the gear oil annually. If there is any update after a year, I will update my review.

Looks, smells and feels like gear lube. Nothing seizing up. Good so far.

Suitable for the lower unit of outboard motors, this thick, high viscosity oil was nice and clean out of the bottle and didn't appear to have any containments. It will take some time to fully judge performance, but after using it on my outboard today, I was pretty happy with how it was running. Nice and stable.

I installed this product in my 1983 Johnson 25hp.Been out on the water a number of times & to the best of my knowledge & inspection NO PROBLEMS.At the end of the season I'll drain the lower unit & closely inspect the fluid at that time.That will determine if I will purchase this product again or not.I change the lower gear lubricant every year.
