I'm stunned there are no reviews for this product. Back I the late 80's we lived in Japan. We had one of these can openers. It was shorter and a little wider back then. It never failed us, infact we had it and used it up until just 6 years ago. We lost it in our move to another state. We use to joke about it being older than our kids. I was so heart broken. No other can opener has ever lasted or worked so well. It's even self sharpening in design. We had it 32 years, except for paint wear over the years, it was perfect no rust always sharp. You just cannot believe how happy I am to finally have one again. We actually bought 4 to give to family. As long as you don't lose it like we did, you will never need another can opener in your life. 32 years folks no other can opener will last that long.
