This door counter displays the visitor count on the screen and records data on a memory card, including time of passage. Wireless and easy to install, this manual counter clicker does not require power or external connections. Data can be transferred to a PC in CSV format, making it ideal as a traffic counter system for retail. The device also functions as an autonomous counting clicker, recording hourly traffic. Compact size and long battery life (up to 12 months) make this digital counter clicker a versatile solution for stores and checkpoints.

I like that the counter hands totals to a spreadsheet without proprietary hurdles, yet still promises roughly 98% accuracy by sensing only torso height crossings. The battery powered infrared beam links wirelessly, so no outlet or cable clutters the doorway, and adhesive pads respect painted or historic frames. First break logic filters return trips, making the LCD figure dependable for staffing tweaks. A badge sized magnet is the sole way to reset, safeguarding weeks of data between battery changes.

These work like a charm on the doors to my shop to track foot traffic for us. The set up easy and are so accurate (which I didn't expect). For the price these really work well and add value to the logistics of my business.

Compact size, easy to install, good count:This product is very compact and lightweight, making it very easy to find a spot for and mount on a wall or similar. The product is also quite inconspicuous, given the smaller size, and doesn't draw much attention once set up. The product's accuracy isn't quite 100% but does keep a very accurate log of foot traffic and has helped us monitor weekday vs weekend traffic as well as plot out expected holiday traffic effectively. The battery life of this product also lasts quite a while, as we're yet to replace the batteries.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

I'd love to give these guys 5 stars, but can't for the reasons below.First, I got several of these, so excuse the color in the pics - may not match the product description. They are all the same product and all will be getting the same review. My wife and I have a small business. Most of our business comes from industry shows - about 20 a year. The data from these units will give us a rough headcount of people entering our booth. We'll compare that upstream to show attendance and downstream to transactions. That will be good information for us.The good side ... they do precisely what the product description states. The units are easy to set up. It seems that the IR is scattered - no need to get sender and receiver precisely aligned. It seems to distinguish between smaller and larger items; that is, when my dog runs past it the count doesn't change. But when she stands on the step (you can see where I set up my test in the pics), it does register. Fair enough. If I wave my hand - no count; if I park my hand in front - counts. I'm not looking for 100% accuracy. The current count (two days data) is in the 60s. I have it set to pick up passage, so that's 30+ trips up and down the stairs. Didn't happen between my wife and me, so it is getting the dog and perhaps a cat or two into the data. Not worried about it. Won't be a factor at shows.Without batteries, the units weigh 1.34 and 1.15 oz, respectively. The case has to be the majority of that. The reset key is a simple magnet that takes the count to zero. The bad side ... this is an incredibly basic product with an incredibly out of sync price.>> Did you reset the unit to zero? Zip, data gone.>> The screen could not get more basic. Sure, I want it unobtrusive, but something, anything beyond what it is.>> The biggest downside is the price. For the price, I'd expect an app through which I could not only control the unit (there's no on/off switch, btw), but through which I could get data. For example, while it is useful to compare headcount to transactions on a daily basis, to be able to do so on an hourly basis would be even better. To be able to store data then compare show to show and year to year (same show) would be useful. A graph would be nice. As is, I would need to devote time to walk around to each unit at certain time intervals - silly. If this were the 1990s, I'd be thrilled. It's not.I would be 5 stars if the price were more in line with the function. It isn't. By a long, long shot.

This counter works as stated. It counts using a simple electric eye utilizing some sort of light beam between the two units. One has a display, the other has what appears to be a receiver for the beam from the other unit. You have 2 modes activated by a little switch in the battery compartment of the display unit. Here is where I diverge from thinking this device is of a reasonable value. The promotional graphics showed a phone, and I automatically assumed there was an app that I could use with this device. No. This is a manually reset unit you can only get the data from by looking at it. To me that seems like very dated way of getting the data. The price also seems a bit exorbitant for what it does. Checking through the various counters available out there it seems to be inline with what is being charged for a device like this. I will be using it to count how many people come and go from the side door of my house. I am left just wondering just how useful such a manual old-school type device really is?

We build custom computers and sell a variety of computer electronics online and in our store. These counters are used on our front doors to keep track of the number of people coming and going. It has also enabled us to determine the best days for our newspaper and radio advertising, and we can see the impact the advertising has on a weekly basis. Obviously, there is some correlation between the number of people coming to the store and the sales, but this isn't an exact science because it also depends on various manufacturers introducing new products or updating various products. As an example, our busiest day, customer-wise, was the day the new 5090/5080 Graphics cards were introduced. We had the traffic, but the stock of cards was sold in the first 1/2 hour, so the total sales for the day do not reflect that big traffic, as we only had a small stock of cards. The counter gives us information that we never had available before installing it, showing us the products that elicit the most interest.

This traffic counter system enhances customer number insights and with good operational efficiency. This is perfect for retail stores, museums, libraries, and any indoor space which requiring accurate visitor number tracking. We can easily read visitor counts from the LCD display and manually input them into tracking systems, such as Excel or a handheld counter clicker device, for reliable data management.Overall, this is a well-designed product. Does what it is advertised for. I’m very happy with this product.
