Catches flies pretty well. Shrinks in the dishwasher :( wish I'd read the description more carefully

Hole is too large. Fruit flies fly in and eat bait and then fly back out giant Hole. Does not trap them, just feeds them and helps breed them. Returns have to be in original package unused or they charge 50% restocking fee. Plus they make buyer pay return shipping. Total rip off if you can't use it to find out it doesn't work

I just couldn't get rid of the fruit flies until I bought this. Once I had it, I put a banana peel and some apple cider vinegar in a jar with this cover and they were gone in 2 days. I had struggled for a week or more until I got this cover. Very grateful I bought it.

With right lure (orange juice + apple cider vinegar) it works perfectly
