I took it off a million times because I always had dust under the cover. In general, it was easy to install if you do it right the first time. The first time, I installed it too close to the edge so it was pushed up. The second time, I had a bunch of lint so I had to get it off with tape. Its about perfect now but that was very stressful. Everyone else in the comments is right, everything is more blurry. It feels fine to write on. I begged the seller to stock more pink AGs and he did so I bought one. I plan to switch when I wear out this one. Max Lumi2 is an older device so get the pink one while you still can.

I love how the screen protector feels and if I used the boox primarily for taking notes, this would be an easy product to love. But I use the boox primarily for reading and annotating pdfs, and the screen protector slightly diffuses the text, making everything appear just a tiny bit soft. It is not noticeable when taking notes, but is noticeable and bothersome when reading.

I have never been able to apply a screen protector without damaging it or leaving bubbles. This is the first time I made it happen. I always try my best to follow the instructions provided. So it's must be the product that enables me to get it done successfully.

Couldn’t use the pen because it feels so hard not to damage the pen, I couldn’t return because the product got damaged when I wrote on it. Expensive and not working!

The company makes several versions with varying degrees of matte anti reflectivity. This one seems to be the most matte, but as others have mentioned it severely blurs the text to the point where it causes eye strain. I couldnt stand it for more than a few days and had to take it off. The also make a "thin paperlike" one that has a pink label instead of green. That one has slightly more glare, but still has sufficient texture for writing while not impairing the text clarity at all! Touch sensitivity is also better on the pink version. So, get the pink one, not the green one! The pink one happens to be 10 bucks cheaper too.Other than that, while these are a little tricky to apply since they are so big, it actually is possible to get a bubble free surface, unlike the OEM protector. Oem was a bubble nightmare. This goes on very well. Just make sure you absolutely get rid of every speck of dust, as any trace of dust will result in a bubble.

This screen protector makes text blurry. If you read books or articles, anything text or fine detail heavy, you will likely notice it.I use my Boox Max Lumi 2 to mostly read math heavy PDFs with small fonts. Any increase in blurriness results in additional eye strain. This defeats the purpose of using an eink reader.While the improvement in writing surface is great, the mild reduction is glare is not enough to change where you can comfortably read. The Max Lumi 2 is supposed to have a pretty sturdy screen compared to previous models, so as long as you keep it in a decent slip cover when not in use it should be fine.If you mostly do not read, or only read large fonts where a little blurriness hardly matters, this protector could be worth it for the improved writing surface. If you are fine with writing on the standard surface, or value the reading experience above all else, skip this.

Like the other reviewer, I had tried to install the BOOX included screen protector, but the dimensions and thinness of that one made it impossible to install for me correctly.This one? Very easy to install. In a couple minutes I had a nice matte bubble free screen protector (there were a few small bubbles initially that I had trouble working out, but they disappeared in about a half hour).The writing experience and anti-glare is very good. My only downside is that it slightly worsens off-angle reading. It seems that the tablet is a bit less crisp when viewed off angle with this screen protector, but this is a small price to pay. Very pleased with this protector.

The Lumi Max 2 has a very slick screen, so it feels like writing on an iPad rather than paper. With this applied, it feels like writing on a cold press paper. I wish they put the term paperlike in the description, because I was worried about that, and it is. That makes it so much easier to use.The Lumi Max 2 hoards fingerprints. Clean it thoroughly before applying this. This isn't quite as fond of them.The Lumi Max 2 has a glare, which I don't care about but a lot of users do. This is an anti-glare filter.The company sent me an email with links to multiple videos on the correct way to apply this product and clean up missed dust after the fact. The only issue I have is it took a few days to send that email. I think that might be an Amazon limitation on vendors. The videos are great. Wait for them. Watch them. It'll save a lot of hassel.It comes with a cleaning cloth and a dust removal tool. You'll want to use both for best results.I'm told the Lumi screen is on the fragile side with regards to types of stylus, so I'm glad for this extra layer of protection.All told, I'm glad I bought this. Highly recommend.
