This binder seems to be sturdy and strong. The rings close tightly, and all the edges of the binder seem to be really sealed well.

When received the vinyl on the notebook was bubbled and cover was slightly bent. 2 of the D rings don’t exactly meet

I ordered another brand that was returned when the closer didn't work and all of my papers fell to the ground.. This one worked greater.. No issue with closer.

First off, beware of the sizing. This so-called 3" Samsill binder is only about 1/4" thicker than a 2" Avery binder that I bought locally. The board on the spine of the Samsill binder is 3" wide. The actual rings will only hold about a 2-3/8" thick stack of paper. It looks like Avery goes by the actual size of the rings. Secondly, good luck getting one that's intact. Of the three I purchased, one was great, but two looked like they had been stepped on and dropped repeatedly prior to packaging. As for the quality of the binder, today's "durable" and "heavy-duty" binders are pretty flimsy compared to older binders, so don't expect too much.

I had the yellow bubbled up all over the binder, the inside was the worst. I was afraid to rub my hand over anything for fear of ripping the bubbles and peeling would begin. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra dollar for the staples brand!
