Great salt storage for everyday use. I find that is a quality made item and I have been using it daily for the past few months. Really like that fact that it has a seal which keeps my salt from getting damp and clumpy. I have been looking at more pricy options in the past, but went with this one and I'm glad I did.

The container does hold a lot of salt but the shape does make it slightly difficult to get salt out without spilling.The item I received was slightly misshapen but it still seals properly.

I like the wide opening and easy access to the salt. Holds almost a full container of salt and the white gloss with bamboo colored lid look nice on the counter.

This Salt Cellar is a game changer for us. We have always had regular salt dispensers similar to sugar dispensers, never can get your hands in well enough to just get a pinch or two so when I saw this - well just had to try. Holds a tone of salt and ever so easy to just get your hand in there and get that pinch you need. Nice enough simple look for counter, good wood with seal top to keep salt dry should you be in humid area. Very please with this. Look forward to getting more to give as gifts.

We’ve been using a subpar container for our cooking salt. This salt pig is much easier to use due to the wide opening and angled shape.The wood lid style and white ceramic color matches nicely with our Scandinavian style kitchen. Looks great to leave on the counter at all times.Unfortunately, the lid does pop off sometimes!

I recently broke my salt cellar so needed a replacement. I saw this one and liked the unique curved design. It is pretty and functional! When it arrived, I washed it, towel dried, and then let it sit overnight since I live in humid Florida. I wanted to be sure it was dry before adding salt to prevent clumping. I have been using it ever since and I love it. When following a recipe, my measuring spoons fit easily to scoop the desired amount. For other cooking, I can just grab a pinch or two when I need it. This cellar has a heft and thickness to the ceramic that speaks of quality. Now, hopefully, I won't break it any time soon!

I was pretty jazzed when I saw this salt cellar since it is always so inconvenient having to grind salt from a salt grinder or opening the pantry for some salt. This helps me keep salt somewhere convenient in a nice and attractive way.You get the salt cellar in a box and it is very well protected by formfitting foam. The salt cellar is made of ceramic and sits flush on the countertop and features a very nice wooden lid. The lid itself is finished quite nicely with the edges and the surface feeling smooth to the touch. It sits on the lip of the salt cellar fairly snugly thanks to the rubber gasket on the lid. It fills up with a fairly generous amount of salt and can stay sealed off from the elements. The lid is easy to remove, allowing you to easily and conveniently grab a pinch or a smal scoop of salt from the generously sized mouth of the salt cellar.Super nice salt cellar overall. The only real problems with it is that it does not have any way of securing itself on the counter with any sort of feet. It relies solely on the weight of the salt and itself to keep from moving around. Additionally, the finish on the cellar does have some imperfections, such as tiny little popped bubble marks. If you can get past these issues, I think you will definitely enjoy this salt cellar.
