These things are incredibly comfortable, it's like your not even wearing anything. These come with a removable pad that slides into a pocket in the front so the goods aren't on display. Super stretchy and the legs stay put without riding up. For reference I'm 6'2 208 with an athletic build and size XL fits great. Totally makes sense why Europeans wear this style of trunks.

When you put these on the first thing you’ll notice, as will everyone else is that your package will look huge, there’s a removable molded cup in the crotch, remove it unless you want to look like a total...well,,a total what’s behind the molded crotch.They fit good, are nice looking so if you just want to look good at the beach these are great. As far as lap swimming in a pool they aren’t geared for that because the leg openings aren’t tight fitting and ride up as you go, so unless you want to accidentally expose yourself you have to keep pulling at them every few laps.

This is my first time trying out this style of swimsuit and I feel great in it. Wore this to the beach and absolutely no complaints. the material feels standard-- this pair of swim trunk feels like it's made to last. I personally enjoy a tighter fit around my legs and the business area, and I'm happy I made this purchase.One thing though, the included cup makes you look huge. I did not use it while I went out and discarded it. But I don't think that warrants a deduction in score, just a small note to you potential buyer. The trunks exceeds my expectations in every other aspect.

Love the fit of these shorts.. I hate traditional swim trunks, but not up to wearing swim briefs casually, so these are the perfect in-between. I ordered a Large, which is Medium in Asian sizing (I'm normally a waist size 31) and it works perfectly... runs large enough to create gentle waving action across the surface of the garment which provides an added layer of modesty, versus a swim training square-leg suit, which is meant to be fairly form-fitting. You could walk through the hotel lobby wearing these and it wouldn't be a big deal. The feel of the textile is nice and the colors are vibrant so it looks and feels expensive.My only complaint is that the liner is the same shape as the shorts (vs a brief style liner), which causes some double-sided drooping situations to happen... I imagine this is the reason for the soft cup, and not for accentuating the goods, as other reviewers have suggested. I won't be using the soft cup so I may end up having to scoop a lot.Update: these ended up being my go-to shorts for casual settings. Quite comfy and cute. They do end up being more for looks than durability, but the nice part is, when the butt wears out from sitting on the side of the pool or on the sand, you can purchase new ones! :) The scooping ended up being a non-issue... once they get wet they stretch to accommodate your goods.

I typically wear baggy board shorts when swimming but started buying Speedos and tight fitting trunks for in the hot tub. Loose swimsuits fill up with air in the hot tub and are an absolute pain. These are nice because they are form fitting but not super tight. I really like the fit. Not something I would wear in public Or around friends and family but very comfortable to wear. The padded insert is nice for wearing in public because without it the suit clings to you when wet and you can see too much detail. The pad is thin so it isn’t intended to make you look bigger but rather to hide the lines of your package. All in all it is quality and well made. I am pleased with it.

Purchased a pair of Salent Men's swim trunks with a floral print design. The trunks fit great. Size and cut. Love the pattern - vibrant color. Have only had them at the pool once - notice they dried very rapidly when getting out of the pool - really like that. I have always dislike wet fabric against my leg - so I can say they feel great both in the water and when sitting or walking around. Nice product!
