My daughter needed a stainless steel bottle that would fit in the side pocket of her Fjallraven book bag. She was transitioning from using the plastic Fiji water bottles, which was tricky because none of the ones we had at home seemed to fit. Either they were too bulky or too skinny to hold a decent amount of water. I saw this at the S'well website and then found it here. The Flip Straw cap and the measurements made it a perfect fit. One small hiccup was that I had to remove the straw component and reinsert it to get it to provide the proper suction. It does it's job keeping the water or any beverage icy cold for a number of hours. It works great. It's a keeper.

It's a great beverage bottle, but it's a bit expensive and heavy. I bought it on the recommendation of a world traveler. It's a good product, but it was too heavy for my day pack.

I love Swell ! The bottle is as expected - high quality and a stainless steel straw. But I wasn’t expecting to struggle sucking water up the stainless steel sip straw. It’s fine for most occasions and hey, I even get to exercise my cheek muscles! But when I’m on the spinning bike or doing high intensity exercises the slow rate of flow is annoying .Update: the straw’s flow rate improves when I don’t screw the top so tight. Seems like a bit of air is needed !

I have a S’well bottle for myself (17 oz) and it’s compact for travel and fits into most backpack drink slots. Bought this one for my Dad since he liked mine so much. Design is slim and easy to carry around.

I use the other S'well water that looks just like this but just discovered that the straw is a wonderful feature. No more unscrewing the cap in the middle of the night- just a simple flick up.
