This is such a beautiful Matroska doll! The colors are so vibrant and the designs are very detailed. I love to gift these dolls because they are so fun to open up and set them side-by-side to see how big to small they get! They're a little hard to open at first, but once you loosen them up, they seem to be just fine.

When I grew up my grandmother had authentic matryoshki that I would play with but I wanted something newer for my daughter and these were PREFECT! The craftmanship is very good and she loves the vivid colors on each doll! Very happy I purchased these dolls!

The wood to make these is very thin, so you have to be careful. The painting is very lively, though, and there are definitely ten of them!

My daughter really wanted a set of these dolls. I purchased because of the reasonable price and the wonderful color and style of the dolls. Upon receipt I inspected the quality and was very pleased. The detail in the patterns was great and my daughter enjoyed taking the doll apart and displaying them across her room and eventually putting them back together. Its been over a year since purchase and this product has maintained its quality till this very day. Extremely pleased with this purchase.

The children, ages 3.5 to 10, are fascinated with these nesting dolls. they fit together well. The wood is smooth and the painting is pretty. The smallest dolls are quite small, which would be a concern for children who still put things in their mouth’s. and because of the way they are made, they are not a sturdy toy that you would toss into the toy box. But I don’t really believe that’s a con because they are a fine, handcrafted toy that one would treat with care. They are lovely and intriguing. And the customer service is wonderful. One of the dolls was broken and they sent me a coupon code for a new set right away.

We had an 40 year old set brought to us by a relative after a trip to Russia. The dolls intrigued my grandkids but we were concerned that the old dolls would not withstand the play of toddlers. So we bought this set based on the reviews that said they were sturdy and well-made. We have been pleased with them: they are made of thicker wood, each doll is a slightly different color (great color naming games) and the kids have enjoyed them. We only let them play with the larger dolls for now since we want them to have the entire set intact as they get older to enjoy the tiny last few dolls.
