If you are lifting your Jeep, you will need this to stop associated bump steer. I put their 2.5 inch lift kit on and this was the finishing touch. Make sure you get the right one. Manual and power steering pitman arms are not interchangeable. Manual is smaller than the P/S model.

Used this on my 87 yj jeep with a 4” lift. It fixed my steering wandering problem. Nicely painted and well made.

This definitely is needed when lifting your tj 3.5”. Before installing, braking would pull to the sides and hitting bumps in the road would send you all over your lane. Definitely was not a situation where you’d let your kid drive the jeep. This fixed those issues by putting the proper geometry in the steering. My only complaint is the teeth cut with the alignment in the pitman arm. I’m guessing that this arm was out of place slightly because I can not get the steering wheel straight with the wheels. So crooked steering wheel.
