The material on the sleeves is thick and durable. The down fall is that wearing a combat shirt you are wearing body armor and want to stay as cool as possible. The material in the sleeves made of similar material to winter weight USMC pants. The part of the shirt that is not camouflaged is more of a cotton type material it is not moisture wicking. In the heat and wearing body armor you will be soaked with sweat. It an ok shirt but you will want to take your armor off with couple hours use, it’s just hot. Granted I’m in North Carolina and in the summer it is typically 95 degrees and almost 100% humidity. I don’t think I would buy again, I would look for something better.
