My wife loves the candle set she received. The combo of the 3 is better than expected

We burn a lot of candles - I trim the wicks (as you're supposed to) and find having this set together just makes sense and my candle etiquette with these is much better. That might be a bit extreme, but these are fun to use and practical.

I ordered the rose gold and am so pleased. They are heavy duty and look so elegant. If you are in the market for these tools or know a candle lover this set is a great purchase and would also make a lovely gift or stocking stuffer. They are good sized so they should work well with any size candles.

I’ve never had a set like this before, and I love it. I love scented candles, and with this set, it’s better to take care of them. I love how I can put out the wicks out by using the tool that looks like a hook. You use it to push the wick into the melted wax so the flame goes out without getting smoky and then use it to bring the wick back up for the next use. Really happy with my purchase.

I don't ordinarily burn candles because I am sensitive to the smoke. But since I received a few candles as gifts, I figured I would put them to use. Upon smelling the soot, it confirmed my reason for not buying candles. However, before the soot scent came about on the same candle, it smelled really nice. Hmmm...a light bulb went on in my head and I figured; I must be doing something wrong.....You say, what is so "technical" about burning candles....well, thank goodness for Google! I found out the wick should be cut to 1/4 inch before burning to minimize soot build-up. Also, candle wax has memory and should be burned long enough to burn its top wax layer. Then, for putting out a candle, a snuff is to be used, or you can bend the wick into the wax to prevent smoke (which the snuff can do the same job too). Wow-Wee! this has solved my problem to the soot smell. Of course Google, also mentioned quality of wicks and wax, scents, etc. The candles I have received as gifts are 3-wick burners from Bath & Body Works (smell and burn really nice!), so I have not compared to other brands. So this is the reason I purchased this nice "candle care" set which contains a wick cutter that measures out 1/4" as you set it against the cold wax, the hook to bend the wick into & out of the wax, and the snuff to put out the candle. Just what I needed!

I absolutely love the dipper that this thing comes with! Not only does the rose finish retain its' color, but also it's very helpful for scraping the wax buildup on the sides to re-melt in the center. The dipper's tip is also very thin, and after dipping your wick, the wax easily slides right off! No wax buildup on the dipper! LOVE IT!The scissors could be a lot better though. It is quite heavy for a pair of scissors, and you have to put in effort to both open and close it. It does the job and cups the burnt wick well, but it's too unwieldly. I think I'll stick to regular scissors honestly.

These are pretty to look at and work so well for my growing candle collection. The wick trimmer works great. The sniffer is great as well and is much better than blowing out the candles. I use the stick to take debris out the wax and to pop bubbles. This would make such a great gift for something who loves candles!
