1.Make sure the sand bags are completely full,this is very important in windy conditions.
2.In case of strong wind conditions,screw the pole anchors into the sand until about 2 inches of the anchor remains above ground.(Note:pole achor is not included.)

How To Fight The Wind:
Reliancer stretch sun shade canopy has wind-proof function,but if the wind speed more than 25KM/H (or if you feel the wind is strong), you can follow below ways to prevent the tent from being blown over by the wind:
1.Bury the sandbags under the beach.
2.If used on grass,install ground stakes and screw them into the ground.

I would return if it weren't too late. We spent 30 minutes trying to put this thing up and finally gave up. First you have to use a dinky shovel to fill four bags with sand, then try to prop the top up with poles. One of the bungee cords did not have the adjuster ball, so we had to wrap it and knot it. We had some wind, so it was impossible to put it up. The instructions said if it's windy to stake it down, with stakes we didn't have. A huge waste of money. Obviously, I should have tried using it when I received it. Instead I waited for company to come, and it's too late to return. My bad.

Light weight, good quality canopy. The first day was okay, the coqrds on the poles broke, but that wasn't a big deal. Second day, one of the inserts got stuck in one of the poles while tapping it down in the sand. So we could not use that section of the pole. We ended up with one tall side and one short side. It's too late to send it back, so we are going to try and figure something out before our next beach trip.

Super easy to set up. Only takes a couple minutes. Green color is nice & works as a landmark when walking the beach or out in water. Nice storage bag with straps. Unfortunately right out of the box upon first use (at beach) 2 of the sand pouches have rips in the seams. A little concerned about the quality & how it will hold up. Undecided about returning it.

I will update rating, once replacement is issued. I got this for a beach trip and was disappointed on first use because one of the sandbags was not stitched and had a large hole in it. That said it still held up well. A couple tips for windy beach days: 1) get creative w/ pole placement. I used 2 corner poles to prop up side facing wind and added a 3rd between them to help prop up and create a parachute effect. 2) move sand bags around to optimize pole support and ensure the poles are not bending. 3) bury the sand bags, once placed.

Took solo vacay and wanted to have a lightweight, easy up and down sun covering...THIS IS IT. Could reasonably have two adults comfortable under the shelter. I had my beach chair and beach wagon under with room to spare. Packed the travel bag in my checked luggage and saved $400 by not paying for umbrella service for the trip. Excellent sun protection and countless compliments on the ergonomic and user friendly design. Highly recommend!

This thing took less than five minutes to set up. It was so easy and we put it up for the first time in strong wind. It held up, provided shade, and was really easy to assemble and disassemble. I highly recommend this!

Exactly as described with what came.4 poles, bungee cords, tarp, small shovel, and carrying bag. Any of my kids could have carried it because it was so light weight.Took a few minutes to set up because the bags for sand can take a lot to fill but was t bad at all.I read a tip about burying the sandbags to help with the wind and sure enough it did.So set up time and take down time are only minutes.Most impressed with the fact I didn’t struggle to get everything back in the bag, it all fit back in its bag!!!Hands down great buy for my family of 6. Could have a bit more hight to it but that’s far from a deal breaker, brushed my wife’s head and she is 5’6. So if your 6ft you might not be able to stand up all the way without hitting the top.Didn’t have a chance to take pics but we just got back from the beach and I think it did well enough it deserved a review posted, when I saw it there was only one review.Definitely a contender in the selection of beach canopy and with how simple these things are it’s done right. Gladly give it 5 stars.

I love this. It is super easy to put up and really compact for travel. We usually ride our bikes to the beach and I cannot tell you how easy this makes it. We also have 2 of the small compact chairs and they fit in the bag with the sun shade. Actually had a couple people come up and ask about it.
