Worked like a charm. Did its job. Not a bad price. Nice purchase.

Just wish that it was a little harder it's very flimsy definitely not for a dog that is rough if you have a small dog then yes it should be okay.

Once we took him for leg surgery the vet said it was too small for his nose length but that’s not your fault. They gave us one to use.

This was better than hard cone that we get from vet office

I pulled out the cone from the packaging and the first thing I notice are long white dog hairs on the cone. My dog has short brown hair. Also a dry smear mark on the inside possibly saliva or from a dogs nose. It looks like someone used it and returned it. Then instead of checking and cleaning it, they just sent it back out to another customer. It would take too long to pull all the dog hairs off the cone so I pulled off what I could and wiped the cone down. I put it on my dog and noticed the Velcro is strong. There is felt on the edge of the cone to soften the edges. It is less sore when she runs her cone into my leg now but it’s harder to clean when it gets dirty. Her nose sticks out of the cone which makes it easier to eat and drink but she’s also able to reach and lick her wound on her back leg. I would not recommend this cone. Especially if your dog has a long snout.

What’s the worst part of your dog having to wear a cone? ……. It’s when the plastic edges scrape your legs! Our dog needs to wear the cone to prevent him from licking and biting itchy legs and tail. He has terrible skin allergies and we deal with it in mostly warmer weather. This shield has soft felt edging that protects all of us from cone attacks and scraped legs. It is fairly adjustable with hook and loop portions on both ends to allow about 2 inches of flexibility in sizing. It also makes putting on and taking off more comfortable for the dog. It’s lightweight which is helpful for smaller dogs.
