I have a 2000 f-350 dually, the plugs on the recon lights did not match the factory plugs so i had to cut them and solder and heat shrink to get them to work. I Was expecting a plug and play, but all said and done the lights adhered well to the dually fender and work/look great.

I used liquid electrical tape to seal the wires into the house and on the inside of the fenders to ensure they won't fall out. Over 50,000 miles and not a single problem. Look great, work great, just install them with liquid e tape to seal them in place.

I bought these as an alternative for my 2002 Ford SD. They seem ok out of the box as far as the light housing goes. The wiring is a different story. The light plugs in where the bulb does. This leaves NO waterproofing or a POSITIVE or stay put connection, so the wire can easily come out and or get contaminated with water and corrode. I used Silicon grease on my connections and electrical tape. I wrapped the entire wire to include the light socket and EOM connector, this should prevent water form getting in there and the plug form coming out. Also I taped down to the shoulder of the light to prevent the wire from breaking off at the light that some of the other reviews mention. The light stick on with a double sided tape. I am not for sure it can take the California Sun Time will tell.Over all these are just average the manufacture would need to include better instructions and some way to waterproof and keep the plug in the light socket. Also put some heat shrink tubing on the end of wires to protect the wire where it meets the plug and light housing. Preferable before they inject the hot glue or epoxy.

Work pretty good for a while, then the wire broke off rite where it connects in to the light.. Just like the other review said. This sucks, I don't want to buy another set to replace just one.

Lights installed fairly easily, and looked great at first. Within the first week, the wires broke off where they connect into the lights themselves, too close to the lights to splice back together. Within two months all four had broken off. Long-lasting leds arent much use when they cant get power.
