Easy Installation: There are NO screws or other fasteners required. Just need to use a flathead screwdriver to pry the old bracket and installthe new lift arm on. Before installing hatch parts, prop up your rear heavy hatch by a rod or helper to stay away from harm.

It's strong enough to hold the trunk open without closing by itself. But it's not strong enough to open the trunk, you still need to lift the trunk.

My trunk wouldn't stay open anymore. A Google search revealed that I might need to change my trunk struts. OEM Lexus ones are about $150 a set. I looked on Amazon and found these for half the price.Installation took 30 minutes for both sides. You'll need a flat head screw driver to remove the old struts. But the new ones just pop in. It's now strong enough to hold my trunk open and sometimes opens by itself if I pull the trunk release lever. Highly recommended at 5 stars!

Bought for my Lexus is350 2006. COULDNT BE HAPPIER. Pressing the boot door button, it'll open automatically. Using the remote, it'll need a light nudge. Nevertheless, much much better than the stock ones which were really weak and didn't help the especially heavy boot lid. 10/10 purchase.
