White Tanned This lambskin is white tanned using a non-toxic, metal-free process that preserves the wool’s natural softness and appearance. Unlike traditional chrome tanning, white tanning is baby-safe, environmentally conscious, and gentle on sensitive skin.
Oeko-Tex Leather Standard Class 1 - Certified to the strictest class for babies, this ensures the lambskin is free from harmful substances like formaldehyde, dyes, and heavy metals. Tested at every stage of production for safety, purity, and skin compatibility.
Woolmark Certified This lambskin meets the Woolmark standards for 100% pure new wool, verifying its authenticity, quality, and durability. It guarantees the wool is not recycled or blended and performs to global benchmarks in softness and care.
CPSIA Compliant Complies with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act for child safety. This certification confirms the product is lead-free, phthalate-free, and meets all U.S. safety standards for use with babies and young children.
Intertek Tested Independently tested by Intertek, a global leader in safety and quality. Confirms compliance with product safety, environmental impact, and ethical sourcing standards, including SMETA social responsibility audits.
  • Yes! Our lambskin is Oeko-Tex Certified (Class 1 for babies), CPSIA compliant, and tested to ensure it’s free from harmful chemicals, dyes, and heavy metals. It’s safe for direct contact with sensitive infant skin.

  • Yes! Machine wash, gentle cycle in cool water with mild liquid detergent on gentle cycle. While still damp, stretch to original shape. Lay flat to dry away from heat. Occasionally shake during drying. When nearly dry, tumble dry with no heat.

  • Unshorn means the wool has never been trimmed—it’s left in its natural short length for extra softness and breathability. It creates a softer, fluffier, cozier texture than shorn wool.

  • Yes! Many of our customers use it as a seat cover, pet bed, or to relieve pressure points during long sitting. It’s soft, durable, and versatile.

My baby absolutely loves her sheepskin rug ! She loves to nap and pull her fingers threw the hair. The fur is thick and soft and doesn't have an odor. The color is as expected and I haven't noticed any shedding of hair !

Feels a little course on the body. I am a cancer patient and have bought 3 sheepskins from different sellers. None of the were as soft as I would like for as the seller says. As a rug, great. On the bed? Not so much. I will buy yet another bu this time, in person.

Bought this for my daughter in la and my son for their first. Also for a coworker. Her baby loves it and hopefully my soon to be grand baby will as well. I put my son on a similar one at 8 weeks and he slept through the night on the very first night and nearly every night thereafter. He loved his lamby. We shall see how his child feels about hers!

We ordered a couple of lambskins for our new grandbaby for the different households that watch her. This was by far the softest of all of the lambies we ordered. I have raised all of my four children (now adults) on lambskins. Best Money Spent. She is out in 5 minutes from hitting it and kneads her fingers like a kitten in it.

Love this productI bought it as a dog bed for my princess companion, she loves it.It could of been an inch or two bigger, and I did get the extra large. My dog is a medium size, so the ex large wouldn't work for a Large dog.I would love to buy a couple more for myself, for pillows. So soft, so comfy.I am worried about when the time comes to wash it, I don't want it lose its shape or shrink.Great buy

Love this for our son to lay on! Only issue I have is one spot got wet and the fur curled up whereas the rest of the fur is straight. I’ll have to figure out how to fix it.

I put it fur side up in my bed, my shoulders now never have soreness from sleeping on my side. On especially cold days, I bring it out to the couch to put fur side down across my lap, keeps me warm and also attract the kitties who love to noodle it. When the kids were little I used it for places for them to lie down on, babies sleep very well on this. They always smell like lanolin, and this company does an excellent job with the hides. Get the jumbo size!

It is clear from a rectangle with adhesive residue on the back of this lambskin that the seller has removed its original manufacturing source information. Why would they do this? I can only imagine that it would say made in ... and not made in New Zealand. The packaging and tags say New Zealand Sourced Fur, but without the typical "Product of New Zealand" logos you see on goods you purchase in New Zealand. It's not as thick as the Ikea sheep skins, but the size and quality and color are very nice as advertised. I just wish the seller was not trying to hide something by removing the sticker.
