Virtually every serious fisherman has a favorite rod. This one is mine! It fits my travel with my kayak style of fishing by breaking down, but still has qualities of a one piece rod! Sensitivity, etc.

This is a very nice inexpensive rod. I'll love it. But, I must say that in my life I have never seen worse packaging. The rod was in an oversized box with no bubble wrap. I am shocked that it didn't get damaged since the box was a mess. I guess I'll never buy another fishing rod from Amazon.

I had it for one week in my house while I was away on vacation and had other family members bring it in for me and when I got back I opened the box and the tip was broken, other than that mishap, its a fantastic rod, but it looks like the tip is ultra sensitive.

This is a very good "value rod" Not a lot of frills or fanciness, but it seems to be well made and performs well. Just one hint about Quantum Rods - In my experience with other fishing rods, Quantums seem to be over-rated in terms of their stiffness. I would rate this rod more like a "Medium". Use the lure weight rating as your guide.

The reason I love this rod is1. The weight so light you can fish all day and not get tired arms from casting holding reeling in.2. Handles fish with ease. If you loose a fish not this rods fault.3. increase the sensitivity to a bite.If your looking for a quality graphite rod at a great price buy this quantum.Delivery by amazon was excellent.UpdateRod worked well but broke at the tip on a hookset for a 1 pound fish.I don't know if I did something wrong seeing I had pulled in fish up to 7lbs on this rod
