So this is a pretty cheap hole punch. It might be fine for low usage environments, but it has some serious problems. First, it has very little weight, which means it shifts around a lot when you are trying to use it. Second, it can handle maybe two sheets of paper at a time, but I often had difficulty even feeding a single sheet of paper into the punching slot. Third, the punches aren't sized well for the hole wells, which means that they don't always rise back up after a punch, which means you have to give it a whack to reset it for the next piece of paper. But my biggest problem is the paper guide. First, it is really wonky as the numbers on it are completely unrelated to any unit of measurement I could discern (they aren't inches or centimeters or millimeters; maybe fractions of a cubit or a league?). But worst, the upturned portion of the guide, that is supposed to act as the paper stop, is exceptionally pointy and sharp. Like, cut-you-like-a-razor sharp. It's literally unground sheet metal sharp. Not even kidding; this thing will puncture or slash you in a heartbeat if you aren't gloved up. If you've ever cut sheet metal in a shop guillotine, you know what I mean about these edges. Now, for me and my needs, I could take the darn thing out - I don't need to be super precise with the placement of my punches. But if you do need any precision, or if you are punching a lot of paper at a time, this is not the tool for you. Also, this cannot be left anywhere that young children might get a hold of it, unless you really don't like children and are a horrible human being. So I wouldn't even consider this for a real office. For home office, where it will get very little use, and particularly if you can remove the paper guide, it might be okay. Otherwise, I recommend looking elsewhere.
