Our office bought two of these, and when they were working, they were fine. They are now both dead, and it happened a little after we had them for 6 months. I have tried to contact the seller via telephone and email, and haven't heard anything back. These are not cheap - over $450 per. We are now forced to spend additional funds to get working conference phones.

This is the second we have bought of the same model. I have seen reviews where they say the wireless doesn't work well and that is not the case. I have the base station in an upstairs office and the phone in a downstairs conference room. I would assume it was almost 75 feet away direct line and works flawlessly. This phone would be perfect if it would Bluetooth connect to cell phone instead of the cord that was included. This would make it fully wireless. One thing of note on the cord for cell phones is that it has two plugs for phones. One says iPhone and the second says other. I assumed since I have a Samsung I would use the other plug. When i plugged it in to my phone the ringtone volume was maxed out and continually tried to raise the volume. I swapped the phone to the iPhone plug and it works fine. The phone picks up voices well about 8 feet away for the microphones. The sound quality is also good. Happy with the purchase.

Excellent unit for what it intended to do. The only concern here is that the included battery seems to have a fairly short life , but there is a larger battery capacity available if one wants to purchase as a spare or to replace the existing battery. The most impressive feature about this unit is the clear tonal quality and the coverage that it provided during the telecon meeting. We used to use the built in speaker in the land line phone for the telecon session and while it was not bad, it was acceptable; however, this unit is a game changer for us. We now can have a large group of participants in the meeting room and no longer have to worry about moving the phone closer to the person who speak which eliminate the distraction.

Not only did I deal with a year of constantly losing connection with the base station, but right at the one year point it completely died out of nowhere. We've checked the firmware, reset the unit multiple times; no matter what it will not reconnect with the base unit. Really disapponting for such an expensive piece of equipment. This thing is basically a wireless phone with a slightly better speaker and mic for 10 times the cost.

I purchased this Polycom for my new business where people attend conferences remotely via phone on a regular basis. Previously used the corded/wired version at my old company. Needed something without cords because no outlets in the floor. This phone does the trick. I leave it in the cabinet charging until I need it, then pull it out for the conference call in a room full of people. Works just like the corded version. Sound and reception are very clear. Can take it with me to multiple rooms and use with no problem. Cannot comment as to how long it keeps a charge as my conferences usually last less than an hour, and I just plug it back up to charge afterwards. I purposefully do not have any corded phones in my conference rooms, as most folks now prefer to use their smart phones. This particular conferencing disk is able to serve as a replacement for all those wired phones and is great for conferencing. I've gotten many compliments on it from various professionals who were unaware there was a cordless version of this system. Would definitely buy again.

This is an analog device so it required a $75-$100 adapter for our office digital system.Since our system is digital, it will not do conference calling. Will have to use a service instead.Sound is good and mics seem to work well.Looks great on conference table with no cords!

Product perfect for our company needs. We just rented a new floor and made a 16 people meeting room. The SoundStation Wireless works perfect without any wires! the sound quality is the same of the wired one that we have in another room.I saw the reviews before buying it, because I was worried with interference, battery, poor quality.. At least for us, it works great. The transmitter is connected to a landline pretty far away from the room (in another room). The signal is great even going trough dry walls.

The product is ok. We're a small organisation and it does roughly what it says and is pretty easy to use. I like being able to plug a mobile phone into it. The wireless feature is very good. (Oddly it has no off-switch which means it isn't possible to leave it charged up and switch it on when you want. You have to leave it in standby mode which runs the battery down over 2-3 days. This means in effect no alternative but to leave it on charge the whole time. Not a huge problem but better to have had a simple on/off). I haven't found the microphones quite as responsive as I'd have expected. In a group larger than just 2-3 when sat comfortably spaced around the table it is necessary to move closer to the microphone when speaking in order to be heard clearly. It also isn't that loud even at full volume. This seems strange - having a powerful amplifier would seem an obvious feature. For the price I would had expected a bit more. Yes it is better than a basic speaker-phone but not an order of magnitude better.
