The adjustable, detachable helmet peak raises high on the helmet so goggles can be stored. Rear ventilation can also be used to securely store sunglasses. No ventilation gets covered by a goggle strap, helping riders stay cool. The helmet is certified to the Dutch NTA 8776 electric bicycle helmet standard, the only such standard in the world.

Ich denke ob ein Helm gut oder schlecht ist, findet man erst im Worst-Case heraus. Was Ich sagen kann: der Helm sitzt sehr bequem und ist auch für die Größe sehr leicht. Ein riesig großer Pluspunkt ist die Belüftung. Die Hitze staut sich nicht im Helm und der Schweiß läuft nicht ins Gesicht, sondern wird durch die Belüftung schön gekühlt.

Ich fahre den POC Kortal Race MIPS jetzt seit mehreren Monaten und bin absolut begeistert. Der Helm vereint innovativen Schutz, exzellenten Tragekomfort und ein durchdachtes Design – genau das, was ich von einem hochwertigen Mountainbike-Helm erwarte.Das MIPS Integra System vermittelt ein spürbares Plus an Sicherheit, gerade bei technischen Trails oder schnellen Abfahrten. Besonders positiv finde ich die Integration des RECCO-Reflektors und des NFC-Chips – Sicherheitsfeatures, die man hoffentlich nie braucht, aber im Ernstfall den Unterschied machen können.Auch in Sachen Passform überzeugt der Helm: Das 360°-Verstellsystem lässt sich millimetergenau anpassen und sitzt selbst bei längeren Touren angenehm ohne zu drücken. Die Belüftung ist top – selbst an heißen Tagen bleibt der Kopf angenehm kühl.Optisch ist der Kortal ein echter Hingucker, vor allem mit dem markanten, tiefgezogenen Heck und dem clever konstruierten Breakaway-Visier.Fazit: Für alle, die einen modernen, extrem sicheren und komfortablen MTB-Helm suchen, ist der POC Kortal Race MIPS eine klare Empfehlung. Preislich zwar im oberen Segment, aber jeden Cent wert.

Helmet fits good, visor broke on first drop from waist height standing around. No feedback from customer service is a red flag. $20 for replacement after second day of riding.
