The plastic used in this cup feels cheap and brittle, not durable or heat-resistant. Within a few uses, the cup started to show fine cracks near the rim, and I’m worried it won’t last much longer. It seems like the kind of plastic that could easily warp or break if dropped or exposed to any kind of heat source (even residual steam).

Exact replacement for the original, including the pin for piercing the eggs. These cups are better than those that come with most egg cookers.
