Mullein plants can reach up to six feet tall. Mullein is drought resistant and heat tolerant, the mullein plant is quite prolific with its seed production, once established it will spread easily when allowed to. We advise starting seeds indoors in the early spring. Our Mullein seeds are heirloom and some varieties are available certified organic!

We’ve maintained our own seed line for a better part of the last decade, and this has resulted in improved germination rates of the plant versus wildcrafted seed. This makes sourcing seed from our company an easy ethical choice.

Because it is a small seed I planed many in small starters and do not have an exact number of how many I planted. At least 30 sprouted and grew so I consider this a good seed.

Mullein already is growing here, but I wanted to have seeds now for where I am moving to, but early spring is when the directions say to plant it, so I will have to wait 3 seasons.
