This Peltier cooler kit from Yrhrol comes with the cooler, heat sink, and a screwdriver. You can order this kit in 2 different sizes. This cooler is USB powered which is convenient. Peltier coolers has been around for a long time. This technology isn't the most efficient, but it is quite compact so it is ideal for miniature applications. The bare kit isn't the prettiest, but will work to cool your smart phone if you wish to keep it cool during gaming. You will need to supply some sort of case with lots of ventilation for any permanent usage. The current price of $24 CAD for this 40mm cooler is slightly pricey.

The Yrhrol Phone Tablet PC 5Volt DIY Peltier Cooler Kit has a bit of an identity crisis and some confusion.What I received was a Peltier junction attached to a fan with a cable to a female barrel connector. A USB-A to male barrel cable allows the unit to run off a USB power adapter. (2A required)There is also a small piece of copper, which could be attached to the Peltier unit to spread the cold.There is a strip of velcro, which is not the way to attach the copper heat sink. Silicone heat sink compound is the way to go.There is a small screwdriver, but nothing that screws.The whole thing comes in a zip lock bag labelled, KONNYBYE 9 Pa Dog Toys. Non-toxic. I don't understand that at all. They must have gotten a deal on ziplock bags with labels on them.Plugging it in, the junction gets cold very quickly. The fan seems to have a thermostatic control as it sped up as the hot side of the junction heated up. After a minute, the fan was too hot to touch. It could use some heat sinking.I don't see any TikTok vlogger sticking this on their phone. It is too DIY.But I do see it being used to cool hot chips on a CPU or graphics board or to provide temperature controlled cooling for any kind of purpose that requires just a little bit of refrigeration.I found it was great on the back of my neck on this 35° day in Canada. At least until the fan got too hot to hold on to.It's actually a good price at $24 for what you get. Just have a plan as to how you want to use it.

This kit is really cool but it's tiny for what it is. It does technically work, but you'll probably have a bit of trouble getting it to be as effective as you want.

Al recibir el producto vi que era muy pequeña la celda, por lo que supuse que no enfriaría lo suficiente, pero para mi sorpresa es la que mejor me ha funcionado y hasta llega a congelar, estoy sorprendido de lo que logra esta súper pequeña celda, pero para el uso que yo le voy a dar solo necesitaba que enfriara y mejor si congela, así que estoy súper satisfecho, ya solicité otras 3 más.
