Without checking every single button but looking at the lot, many of them are marred. I find them expensive for that size button and this level of quality. It’s like the machinery in the manufacturing process damaged them and that they were rushed. There are many consistent with the same markings, that’s why I think it was in the manufacturing process. Others, it almost seems like the gold finish was thick and soft and was subsequently pushed toward the rim.I am concerned about this because this type of button is a feature button and it needs to be right. This may be okay for some crafters, but for anyone adding them to high-level fashion items, the marring is and quality of finish (some are quite rough) really detracts.
