By mistake I bought a 9mm wide rope and this Petzl ID is starting from 10mm. I have tried to change the rope to a wider one but unfortunately I was unable to do it so I have to change the ID for another device.Many thanks,Tamas

The Petzl ID is a must have for anyone that spends any time on rope! The ease of use is next to none, and the ergonomics are fantastic. I am very happy with this product, and would recommend it to anyone who climbs!

Its a real Petzl, shipped to California pretty quick. Looks to be brand new and not damaged.

Mein Eindruck zum I'D S (in schwarz):Qualität: TopVerarbeitung: TopFunktionalität: Top(Nein, ich bekomme nichts von Petzl und benutze auch Produkte anderer Hersteller !)Heutzutage muß man ja jetzt meckern: viel zu groß, viel zu schwer - halt, was will ich mit einem I'D S machen ? Es in der Hemdtasche transportieren, während ich auf dem Weg in die Kletterhalle bin und meinen ultraleichen Klettergurt bereits anhabe ?Dann muß ich ganz klar sagen: falsches Gerät gekauft !Es ist ein robustes Arbeitsgerät und das wiegt eben etwas mehr - und kann auch mehr:Sicherung bei verkehrtem Einlegen des Seils, Panikfunktion, Hebel springt automatisch in die Look-Position - das Gerät muß nicht extra abgebunden werden.
