There is nothing exceptional about these, but they work really well. I've mostly used the scissor ones and they are probably the best I've ever had. Yeah, you'll probably get nicer ones if you spend fifty bucks, but for the money I think these are totally the winner.

Not the best quality. The guard kept moving while I was trying to clip my puppies nails. It also makes it hard to see where I have the clippers on his nails. They work okay. They get the job done.

Just what I needed. I guess my old one was dull as this one is great. It cuts real well,both of them. I have a big cat (over 12 lbs) and he doesn’t like his claws clipped. The faster I can do it—the better—ha!

These are hard to use. I have never used the cat one just the bigger one meant for the dog. I'm a beginner when it comes to cutting pets nails and these clippers were not easy to use at all. Maybe for large breed dogs they might be ok but my dogs are 34 lbs and 25 lbs and these seemed too big and too rough for them.

Thanks to COVID I have started grooming both of my dogs. Which was pretty easy, However when it came to actually cutting their nails because they're both black dogs I was very very skeptical and didn't wanna hurt them by accidentally clipping the quick. So what I would say for 1st time for people using this is to make sure that you have some of the clotting powder just in case to stop a bleed . The product itself it's very very easy to use. They give you both options to be able to work with which I like the Scissors myself With the nail file. For all the pieces you get in the price it's a really good deal I wouldn't recommend for 1st time users
